So my newly upcoming map was flagged thanks to “violence” (it was Pegi 12) and they showed me this….what the fuck?

Not happy enough i decided to fill again the iarc thing when all of a sudden my release was rejected AGAIN. Looked at it and this is what happened.

“We've updated rule 4.4.7 to clarify that when offering on-island transactions that have a visual resemblance to items available in the Fortnite Item Shop, you must accurately describe the in-game value in the offer description and set the ConsequentialToGameplay field to true.”

Now… my map is 1.0. I DONT HAVE FCK IN ISLAND TRANSACTIONS . It only uses a ranked sistem that gives some crystals for unlocking new classes . And this is what they call in island transaction?

Fortnite is going to DIE as soon as GTAVI comes out .

Cause only a company of idiots would think something like this

“Yeah lets fire 1000 employees and let AI do the moderation-thing”

How in the actual….f could they come up with something like that ? Now i cant even publish a map for only god knows what kind of reason.

Please guys if you know something that I dont let me know . I have to publish this map ASAP .

Maybe i shouldn’t complain , maybe i should…who knows…

But i cant deny the fact that im pissed .

The star wars campain was one of the most rotted campains of the year . In the TOS they told that in order to be accepted you must create a map that has some clear star wars lore and unique setting in some way . So i’ve poured my heart out to create a D-Day version of Star wars in a fictional scenario .

Yeah not really original I get it . But still i was the ONLY ONE who built a D-Day Star Wars map . I wasn’t expecting that much to be honest but what i saw was beyond disgusting.

I sent an application …. But nothing …not even a rejection that said “hey you should fix this and you should fix that “ i would have even accepted a “yeah sorry not gonna happen we arleady choose a lot of maps” but no…pure silence

And when may the 1st arrived … i…i just lost it

To my surprise (not really) the section was filled with brainrot and red vs blue crap. With not even an actually decent Star Wars map . All the people that were posting on reddit supercool stuff either got ghosted by epic or got a few players due to poor engagement thanks to the algoritm. Only a few made it and im super happy for them .

But for me ? God they gave me grains of sand . My map got some players only cause I pushed it around all my socials and then it died. Sure it was bugged but I fixed everything in just 24h. But the algoritm dosen’t spare a single soul.

Now maybe my map is not even good. Ok … I take that but atleast give me some feedback? Instead of letting me know what was wrong epic straight up ghosted me . While “Red vs BlUe stAr wArS” Made it trhought with no issue. (Just a red and blue box with some weapons)

This metaverse thing is a joke , how are they supposed to create a unique environment when all they have is crap? If GTA6 will give us the ability to create our own maps this game will be doomed for good .

And im not saying that as a hater . But as a person that worked in creative for the past 6/7 years (if you even think about doing that stupid joke get a life)

At this point is very clear which side Tim is really on . And I wouldn’t go further on that one , cause if I did this post would be longer than the Bible

After a careful review the first bug of the map is now terminated.

Players will be able to join public lobbies without having to respawn

Hey guys its me the guy behind the map.

I’ve seen that some bugs are roaming freely and i want to adress the issue by saying that im arleady working on it . Starting by mentioning the issue Where players could spawn in the lobby while joining an arleady started match. In the next few days i’ll make sure that they could directly teleport into their spawn without having to sacrifice 1 respawn.

On the other hand some issues regarding hitboxes are out of my reach. These are actual problems related to epic’s management of terrain properties.
