For an internal medicine residency application in the US, Would a letter of recommendation from a Canada-based Emergency Medicine doctor be acceptable ?

I'm an IMG applying for Match 2027 and I'm worried I may not be ready to take Step 2 CK until the first week of August.

Would an early August test date be too late to have my score reported and transmitted to ERAS before programs start reviewing applications on September 24?

Has anyone (or anyone you know) taken Step 2 in early August and had their score delayed enough that it wasn't available in ERAS by late September?
