Bowel Endo missed from first lap? Possible?

So I had my first lap last year by my OB/GYN. That was obviously a mistake. She did confirm endo though so that part was a win. She looked at the bowel but didn’t do a pull through? Idk what that is exactly. Basically I think she glanced and didn’t further investigate it all.

Here I am a year later with pain and awful, awful, awful constipation. I am wondering if she didn’t look at everything and it was missed in my bowel. Also, fyi I have had awful constipation for over a decade now and have been to 15+ doctors without any explanation besides of course IBS or anxiety. Like yeah I am anxious because I can’t shit!

Just wondering if you discovered more endo after an appointment with an actual Endo specialist?

Need a second surgery by actual specialist this time

Hey there! I had a lap done in October of 2025. I had my Ob/Gyn complete the surgery because I was in so much pain I wanted help asap. She confirmed Endo with six patches of chocolate lesions. She excised one patch for pathology and then did ablation on the rest of the patches. My period never lessened. In fact I feel like it got worse. Now 7 months later I am back to where I started. I am now seeking help from an Endo specialist. Lora Liu, Matthew Siedhoff, and Center for Endo are my top three choices.

Have you experienced getting a worse diagnosis after seeking care from an actual specialist? Do you have a favorite specialist I should look into? At this point I will throw all my credit cards at whoever is going to help me be symptom free. Also, TTC early next year so a hysterectomy is not in the cards for me.
