Moving: Kennesaw vs. Marietta vs. Cumming or Alpharetta

My wife and I recently became empty nesters and are looking to get out of Oregon and start a new life in another state. We've narrowed it down to Georgia. Cost of living, house prices, etc. Retirement is in the next 15 years, and we have to start getting ourselves on that track.

We literally can't decide between Kennesaw, Marietta, Alpharetta, and Cumming. Right now, Kennesaw is our #1 choice mainly due to house prices, cost of living, and location.

My wife and I aren't big outdoors people, but I do like to fish. We love to get out a few times a week to watch a movie, grab dinner. Most of the time, we're homebodies.

I've worked remotely for the past 15 years and will continue to do so. (Need good broadband internet speeds to keep that ship moving).

My wife has worked with special needs in the school district for the past 10 years and will try to get a similar job in Georgia doing the same thing.

We've always lived in rural areas. Currently live on 5 acres with well and sceptic. NO it's not hill billie, it's nice and maintained. lol. Love big cities but choose to live in rural areas due to prices, privacy, and being quieter, but have the option to travel to a city or beach nearby.

The airport is a big one since I travel 3-4 times a year.

Saying that, any advice or thoughts on all four cities and how they compare?

We may be moving there within the next few months or so. We are listing our house mid-July.
