Snake wont stop glass surfing after outdoor outing
I recently took my snake outdoor for enrichment. He won’t stop glass surfing now. I took my snake out 3 days ago and now he won’t stop glass surfing. I recently changed the substrate and increased the humidity for his shed to 70-80% and admittedly after his shed it was hard to bring the humidity down for about 2 weeks but now the humidity is semi normal. When i place the digital reader on substrate it reads 65-76% but if I place it on the level where he rests his head it is 50%. The humidity reading are fluctuating between 40-76% and the temps are 20-24•C on cold side and 26-29•c on hot side. He’s almost 3 year old and is in a 120 gallon 4x2x2. I have attached the picture of the enclosure. I use coco fiber as bedding. I know the substrate wasn’t deep enough so i added more and it is now 3-4 inches deep. Is this normal? Should I take him to the vet? Or is it because he is in breeding mode now? Please help me
