Sorry if this is a dumb question, but pretty much all of the turning project kits that I see say that they need a specific size of pen maker's drill bits. But as I look at those bits, they don't seem all that special, apart from the leading center point like what you see in a brad or pilot point bit.

Am I missing something or can I just use these other types of bits?
