Gear Check!

So I’m planning on doing a 3 day 2 night 30 mile hike on the Art Loeb Trail. I was weighing if I should swap the bearbox for a slightly larger one but it does hold the food, just not a lot of snack room. The bag is a Trailmade 60

The only other thing I could think of that I’m gonna live without is a table. Also 2 pairs of clothes, a puffer jacket and rain jacket. Is it worth it to get a compression sack for my sleeping bag and/or a stuff sack for the little stuff? Anything obvious I’m missing?

Kelty or Big Agnes

So I’m looking for a “colder” bag compared to the generic one I’ve been using and I’m weighing a Kelty Cosmic Down 20 or a Big Agnes Echo Park 20.

I’m using a Big Agnes Rapid XL sleeping pad and a Exped Megapillow if it makes a difference. I was more wondering how the leg/knee space is on the Kelty, it’s one of the qualms I have with my current ‘hybrid mummy’ bag (I think it’s a quest).

Also, how big of a difference is the down vs the synthetic? I am backpacking with them so packability is a concern, which is why I was looking at the Kelty
