I am a clothing design major and found this Davis vertical feed sewing Machine at goodwill. It still has all its accessories including a shuttle and 5 bobbins. I am interested if anyone could lead me in the right direction about how to best restore it to working condition as well as possibly how to date it.

I have had this sitting in the corner of my room for about 10 years now with no idea what to do with it after I bought it or why I bought it in the first place. If I am looking to sell it is there anything I should do or not do before hand? About what would be a fair price to ask for it? Everything still works.
