Multipacks are usually cheaper than single/small items. Now it’s the opposite with egg prices; 6 eggs for 99p and 12 eggs for £2.49. Same quantity but paying more

I had an interview and as I was asking some questions about the job description, I was told, “sorry this is no longer on the job description and should have been removed.” Basically, the job advert was a copy paste from previous roles and HR didn’t check. Is this common?
