Bringing the COSMIC look to GTK apps!

Oi pessoal!

Clip Keep & Status Hub are now available in the COSMIC Store!

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to share that two applets I've been working on, Clip Keep and Status Hub, are now available directly from the COSMIC Store!

Clip Keep

A clipboard history manager heavily inspired by Maccy on macOS, but built specifically for COSMIC.

It supports text, files and images, fast search, pinned items, image previews, configurable history, private mode, password detection, and synchronization across panels.

The goal is to keep clipboard history simple, fast, and always one click away.

Status Hub

A compact alternative for managing system tray apps on COSMIC.

It collects StatusNotifierItems behind a single panel icon while letting you pin frequently used apps directly to the panel. It supports standard tray interactions, DBusMenu, different icon formats, persistent pins, and automatically adapts to the COSMIC panel and theme.

The goal is to keep the panel cleaner without losing quick access to tray applications.

Both projects are open source:

Status Hub:

If you're using COSMIC and decide to try them, I'd really appreciate any feedback, bugs, UX issues, compatibility problems, or ideas for improvements.

And if you'd like to contribute, contributions are more than welcome!

I built Status Hub — a system tray applet for COSMIC

Hey everyone!

I've been working on Status Hub, a system tray applet built specifically for COSMIC using libcosmic.

The idea is to provide a simple and native way to manage tray apps while fitting naturally into the COSMIC desktop.

Some of the main features:

  • Pin apps directly to the panel so your most-used tray apps are always accessible.
  • Reorder tray items and keep them organized the way you want.
  • Context menu support for apps that expose tray actions.
  • Full COSMIC theme integration, so the applet follows your system theme and feels like part of the desktop.
  • Multi-monitor synchronization, keeping the same tray item order and state across panels when using multiple monitors.

The applet is still going through the submission process for the Pop!_OS repository, but if you'd like to try it now, you can build and install the native version locally.

I'd really appreciate feedback from anyone willing to test it, especially if you use tray-heavy apps or a multi-monitor setup. Bug reports, suggestions, and general feedback are all welcome!
