Today was the first time I have stopped watching or listening to a Titans game in about 15 years.

I remember the last time I walked away from a game. Jake Locker was the QB.

This team is abysmal and Cam Ward is not a good quarterback.

I have been believing in him and the team. Today proved to be that we are not a serious team. We are inept at every facet on the game.

When is the last time you gave up?

Madden 27 interceptions.

I'm playing the 27 beta and a few times per game when passing my receiver will MOVE out of the path of the ball and the defender will get in front of the receiver and intercept the ball.

I mean, my receiver is in front of the defender and will back away when I throw and let the defender get in front of him. It's like a morphing motion and very unnatural looking.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

I have probably 10s of thousands of hours in Madden. I've never experienced this.

The worst injury you've seen as a tradesman?

Morbid curiosity got the better of me tonight.

What's the worst injury you've seen while working in the trades?

I (electrician) saw the aftermath of a man get cut in two from an elevator.

What I know: A crew of elevator workers were working on a hydraulic 2-Story elevator. The technician chocked only one side and tied the top of the cab to a hoist. I was told he used the safety rig for the hydraulic elevator like you would a hoist elevator.

The cable he tied to the top hoist was only tied to the top of the roof the cab and not the entire car. So when they lowered the hydraulics, the only thing holding the cab was one wedge chock. It worked for a bit, but later the apprentice was on his knees working in the pit near the big spring in the bottom. The journeyman was climbing down into the pit. The elevator gave way and cut the journeyman in half. His upper body was in the elevator lobby. His bottom half was in the pit.

The apprentice was struck in the head but because he was already crouched only had very minor injuries. The temporary lights (on extension cord) were cut also. This apprentice was in the dark with his dead coworker's bottom half.

You could hear the apprentice screaming.

It was federal work and they came in black SUVs and walked us all off the site, recorded our names, and made us leave our tools in place until the next morning.

The apprentice recovered fine, physically. I was told he left the trade about 3 months later after, a presumable, payout and position shift offers. His friends said he was just a mental wreck and couldn't even work in the office.

It was about 2002 in Nashville.

Edit: it was 2006.

I found an old thread about it.
