Madeline Leung Coleman in article about restaurants in New York Magazine Zionism as a threat equivalent to xenophobia and Islamophobia
New York Magazine had a "Habibi" issue, with articles about the Middle Eastern restaurant scene. The articles were full of antisemitism and Madeline Leung Coleman's article about restaurants described Zionism as a threat to New Yorkers and she could only call Israel, "the landmass currently called "Israel".
It's amazing how this goes without anyone even calling it out nowadays. New York Magazine's articles could have been written in 1930s Germany and used in holocaust studies to understand how Germany became radicalized against Jews.

NYPD: Jewish man stabbed in Manhattan by attacker yelling ‘Allahu Akbar’
NEW YORK – An assailant on Thursday stabbed two victims, one of whom was visibly Jewish, in an area of Manhattan’s Upper West Side known for its Jewish institutions.
Police said two male victims, aged 57 and 50, were in stable condition and being treated for stab wounds to the torso. One was Jewish and one was Asian, police said.
New York Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch announced Thursday evening that the force had arrested 51-year-old Raul Morales in connection with both assaults and that he had yelled “Allahu Akbar” during both attacks**,** according to multiple witnesses and a victim.
“The NYPD is currently evaluating whether this is a potential hate crime,” Tisch said, noting, “Detectives are continuing to work the case and determine motive.” No other assailants are being sought.

Why does Bryan Johnson avoid the sun so religiously that he applied UV blocking film to all his windows?
Bryan Johnson is interested in reducing premature skin aging so he follows habits to reduce UV exposure such as wearing sun block and not going out in the midday sun.
He also says he applied film to block film to his windows to block 100% of UV light from entering his house.
The dermological studies linking sun exposure to premature skin aging relate to outdoor exposure. They correlate outdoor sun exposure to some signs of premature skin aging over years.
The very low levels of indoor UV exposure, mostly in the form of reflected light that enters the windows of the home and might bounce off of the walls and floor surfaces hasn't been yet associated with premature skin aging in studies.
Couldn't it be more risky to lower your indoor UV levels to 0% than to allow some natural light to enter your house through the windows? Is reducing UV levels to 0% likely to be healthier than allowing some natural light through?
For those wondering why the NYT is promoting blood libels that would be too absurd even for medieval Europe, it's not the first time they behaved like this. They defended the reputation of Nazi Germany during the holocaust.
If you don't know the background of the New York Times. It's been owned by more than a century by an antisemitic family who promoted Nazi Germany during the 1930s and then tried to bury news of the holocaust while it was happening.
"Buried by the Times: The Holocaust and America’s Most Important Newspaper
Laurel Leff, the author of this sad and sobering account of a major and deliberate effort by The New York Times to withhold news of Hitler’s destruction of European Jewry, has presented a compelling exposé. According to Leff, The Times was guilty not only of obfuscation, but of maintaining a Berlin bureau of correspondents which clearly offered an unapologetic defense of Nazism. Any news concerning Jews was deemed to be un-newsworthy, so much so, that the horrors in Europe actually were covered by The Times, such information was buried in obscure places in the newspaper.
How much a vigilant and concerted effort to communicate the events of the Nazi terror and plight of European Jewry to the American reading public might have saved some of the victims, is beyond our powers of imagination. What we do know with a degree of certainty is that The Times had no inclination to present the debacle of Jewish victimization.
The Ochs – Sulzbergers, owners of the paper and titans in the world of newspaper publishing, had their own overt and clearly enunciated purpose in declining appropriate coverage of the unfolding events: “It would be disastrous to ask Americans to fight a Jewish war.” The Ochs – Sulzbergers felt no duty to present accounts of Jewish suffering merely because they themselves were Jewish. Theodore Bernstein, a cable editor for The Times, considered his own Jewish origins a burden he had to bear. Arthur Hays Sulzberger, publisher of The Times from 1935 – 1961, maintained a strong disdain for Israel, and was vehemently anti-Zionist, and a thorough assimilationist. After Israel, became a state, Sulzberger wrote, ‘I feel no closer to the state of Israel than I do to Britain or China.” At one point, Winston Churchill addressed him stating, “I know you are not a Zionist, but I am.”"
