Sony Bravia 8 II or just Bravia 8?

To clarify, I've just started a job. I make enough to afford either options without worry, and it would go on my card first for the benefits. I've been trying to do some research on QD-OLED and OLED vs RGB and etc. I felt that I wanted something more 'organic' if that makes sense with the colors despite how far ahead RGB has come.

Moving on from that, everyone keeps telling me the money I would blow on the Bravia 8 II is ridiculous (the 65" one) and the TV is not worth it despite what it offers. I've wanted a Sony TV for a long time now, and especially with the announcement of TCL taking over for production of their TVs starting next year, I didn't want to risk a fall off in terms of quality in their line. TCL does well, but to a standard of Sony, I feel like it would fall a bit short. So I thought I would purchase one now since I need a TV.

With that said, I'm a bit confused if I should opt for the cheaper option despite it being OLED. Size does not matter to me and I plan to have this TV with me for a decade, give or take. I do prefer big screens, 65" feels standard to me so I don't mind anything like that.

As for the true question, is there much of a noticeable difference between QD-OLED and OLED in the two? Does it just make more sense for me to save the money anyways and buy the Bravia 8? I plan to watch shows, movies, play my PlayStation on it (waiting on the PS6 too so I definitely thought brand and quality matching would pop). I'm no sound or movie aficionado.
