Limit for how many times to crosstrain?

I will be going into the reserves to cross train into another AFSC, it just worked out that one of few AFSCs I had interest in crosstraining to is the only thing for me at a location near where I'll be living.

Problem is, I already know within the next couple of years, I'll be moving to a completely different part of the US. Also, this AFSC doesn't have IMA as an option.

There is another AFSC I would have liked to crosstrain to that does have IMA which I would love, but nothing near me. Hopefully there will be when I relocate.

Is there anything preventing me from at least trying to crosstrain again just within a few years' time? I couldn't find anything besides needing to stay in an AFSC for 2 years and having earned 5 level status, so the bar is low.

But 2+ retrainings seems like it would be a huge, unnecessary financial investment that big AF wouldn't want to do just for a reservist. Should I try to proceed with this plan?

In the old guidance, you'd have 180 days to fit your skillbridge program, terminal leave and if applicable house hunting days all into the same 180 day window. So that means you wouldn't necessarily have 6 months of straight skillbridge unless you were selling all your leave.

From what I could find, under the new guidance, yes the SB program lengths themselves are shortened to 60/90/120 days, but you still have 180 days to fit in terminal leave and and house hunting; you wouldn't be sacrificing any of your slotted SB time to those things like you would be before under the older guidance.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.
