Any paint scheme ideas?
I painted these two figures, Pilot, and Slard from UFO 50 (Pilot Quest). I sculpted the grass for the Pilot minifigure myself (hence why it looks pretty terrible 😅). Which one do y'all prefer?
I mean, I know that they sold (Hence why XL isn't available). However, I cannot find a single review or image of this product. I'm thinking about ordering other things from Fangamer, but I was wondering if they're credible?
I drew this only using a pen!
Tell me watcha think!
This one only took me about 1 ½ hours to paint! All of my other Spelunky figures take me 2-6 hours to paint, (Tiamat took me 2 days). This one was a super fun one to paint and I'm happy to see my collection continue to grow. In case anyone was wondering where his whip is... my brother broke it ✌️😭
The photos featured in this post present my projects, the cost of the materials, and the location in which you can buy them. The last photo is a screenshot of my next UFO 50 project (A Slard minifigure!).
After a lot of hard work and dedication I have finally complete my Pilot minifigure and protective Campanella box. These have been a pleasure to work on and I can't wait to move onto the next project! The box is made out of standard cardboard from an Amazon box. I used the locking mechanism and hinges from a diorama violin case, and I put felt in the interior to avoid paint scraping. The box is measured to fit the Pilot minifigure with minimal wiggle room to provide stability and reduce the chances of it crashing around and breaking. The Pilot minifigure took me about 4 hours to complete, I bought the 3d printed model from a Mercari seller. I did end up sculptung the grass and adding felt to the bottom of the base. The box took me about 2 hours to complete, and it was 100% made by me!
Sneak peak for my next projects at the end!
(Sorry for the poor sentence structure of this post, I had it typed out nicely for the UFO 50 Reddit group only to find out that you can't copy and paste messages in Reddit)
I know it's not necessarily Spelunky, but I really wanted to show off this travel box I made for my custom made Pilot minifigure. Yesterday someone crashed into my backpack in the hall, this shattered all of the grass I sculpted off. When I got home, I not only fixed it, but made this dope travel box as well!
This box features:
.A velvet interior
.Fixed measurements to fit Pilot
.A locking mechanism and hinges
.A dope Campanella design
I would like to make this box look better, so any advice for cosmetic upgrades would be greatly appreciated!
As some of you might know, someone broke my Pilot minifigure after crashing into me in the hall. I not only fixed it, but made a travel box for it too!
This box features:
.A velvet interior
.Fixed measurements to assure the perfect fit
.A locking mechanism and a hinge
.A Campanella design
I brought my Pilot minifigure to school to show to a few friends in person.... unfortunately before first period even started some hooligan was running in the hall and jammed my backpack. This broke the minifigure. Fortunately there was an upside, I was able to repair it and get more accurate colors!
I just added the finishing touches to my Pilot minifigure (from Spelunky 2 and UFO 50). The photos provided include: A photo featuring the complete Pilot figure, The felt base, and my entire collection (so far)
