This is a situation that happened at my workplace.

Let me preface this by saying I am most definitely not anti cop. My dad is retired CHP. I am a Coast Guard veteran who served in a SAR/LE unit and my nephew is a current Utah State trooper.

Here's the deal. We HAD an employee that was wanted by the police for a current offense, who also had a warrant. The cops came to the workplace, climbed the fence and were let in by an employee to look for him.

I don't have a problem with that, dude was wanted, HOWEVER we are an ITAR(International Traffic in Arms Regulation) restricted facility. The cops had their body cams on and i get it, but filming is federally illegal in this facility.

To the cops here, if you were asked to turn off the body cams or be denied entry, what would you do?

I just watched To catch a smuggler and they showed a 87' with a BMCS as the OIC. I was on the Point Brower, an 82' and we had a JG as CO and BMC as XPO.

I don't have a problem with that, it's just a surprise to me.

They're nasty.

Edit;

I just thought I'd lighten it up after all the political questions.

There is a stop sign as you leave the parking lot. STOP at it, especially if you see a gray pick up with tinted windows, the drive side window down just far enough to see out, parked across the street or in the Holiday inn. It's a Springville cop and he will stop you if you don't.

I waved at him as I stopped before pulling out.

Oh, and when I went in, I warned everybody in the store.
