Implants
I have a pretty complex Invisalign case and I’m trying to hear other people’s experiences with implants/bone grafts during treatment.
I’m missing 3 bottom molars because after my baby teeth fell out, the adult teeth there just never grew in, Over time, my top teeth shifted downward into those empty spaces, so now my orthodontist is using Invisalign to move the upper teeth back up to make room for implants.
I’m currently on tray 30/41 before refinements and really hoping to get the implant process started as soon as possible.
Part of why I’m stressing about it is because I recently met someone and it’s made me super insecure about my back teeth and them showing when I laugh or smile from certain angles. I know most people probably don’t notice it as much as I do, but it’s definitely affected my confidence lately.
For anyone who had a similar case:
When were you able to get your bone graft done?
Did you have to fully finish Invisalign first?
How long after bone grafting did you get implants placed?
Did your orthodontist/oral surgeon wait until refinements were done too?
