Steroid injections

My injections are starting to wear off and that means another round. I hear some bad things about elevated blood sugar as a result. I’m gonna ask for the burn treatment instead which I believe is more expensive. Just wondering if it’s a slight elevation for a limited time or if it’s for a long time?

Rays sugar free bbq sauce

I decided to try this today and I’m so happy I did. It tastes just like bbq sauce that I used to use. So, what else is out there? No sugar orange crush is another I recently found that is soooooo good. My goal is to make a root beer float with sugar free root beer. I just need to find the ice cream

A1C disappointment

I had my 9 month A1C done today and I’m struggling to figure out why it hasn’t changed in 6 months. When I was diagnosed I was 11.4 with 616 blood glucose that caused multiple very painful seizures and two separate ambulance rides. 2 nights in the hospital they sent me home with insulin that I ditched after a couple weeks because I was going too low. 2 months later with a home A1C test I was at 5.5 a month later at my physical I was 5.5. So, in the six months since I have gone over 140 maybe 3 times. My spikes are in the teens or if I have toast or blueberries in the 130s. According to my CGM my daily average fluctuates 95-97 and thats backed up by two different glucose monitors. So, why am I at 5.5 again? Should I push for medication? My fear is it will slowly move up before down.

Some good news is my blood pressure has gone down. So I won’t need medication for that.
