Water infiltration through basement shower drain
This is my basement shower drain. I noticed some water pooling in the adjacent room and can only deduce that it came from the area surrounding shower drain judging by some of the sand/mud that was carried over. It wasn’t from the sewer backing up as that rag was dry and still in place.
I find this a bit odd since we have weeping tiles and a sump pump. Weeping tiles feed into the main basement drain and sump pump discharges into the storm sewer.
Thoughts on this? Won’t be able to finish the bathroom this year. Anything I should do to mitigate it until then? Anything I should do extra when I put a shower pan in?
Thanks!
Salt cell build up
Should I be cleaning the cell with the is build up or is it okay? First year running a SWG.
Operating for six weeks, four hour reversal intervals.
Is this normal?
New to salt water pools. Had my pool open last week and just fired up the generator a few days ago. Been running at 100% to clear it up. Is this foam normal?
Am I doing this right?
Just switch my pool over to salt. The NaCl test keeps clumping up like this. I swirl constantly with a room temp sample. Doesn’t seem right?
