Napansin ko lang na wala pala Filipino movies/series sa Disney, mej nakakasad sya. Sana this kind of appearance will create a wave of appreciation not only for music but also for the entire entertainment industry ng PH. Lalo na at DoT ambassador ang Esbi, main goal na talaga nila dati pa to help our country. From music, arts, culture, and tourism, na maaaring ioffer all over the world at hindi focused sa fame or popularity ng bansa kundi more of helping our economy.
Kitang-kita naman how OFWs helped sa palitan ng dolyar. Caregivers, DHs, nurses, teachers, and many more. Then another set will be call center agents na nagpapasok ng dollars without leaving the country. More on service/people talaga tayo kaya maganda na magamit natin yung magagandang tanawin para iangat ang turismo. Music and entertainment will help sooo much. Like shooting a movie sa Palawan, Boracay, Batanes, etc. Or using historical events as the theme or storyline for a series and then creating music that showcases our tradition.
Aside from that, gusto ko talaga na hindi mawala yung passion lalo na sa new generation. Palagi naman nating naririnig na walang pera sa music/arts kaya kahit na talented ang isang tao ay napipilitang maging rational sa mga desisyon. Hindi nagagamit yung talent or kung magamit man, mas napupunta sa ibang bansa kase underappreciated dito. High respect din talaga sa pagtreasure ng 1Z sa creatives at hindi pagtitipid when it comes to their output. Kayang-kaya makipagsabayan, from PH to the World talaga ✨️🔥
Dami ko nasabi pero under question flair eto kase baka may mga recommended series/movies kayo. Netflix at Crunchyroll talaga meron ako, gusto kong sulitin ang Disney subscription hehe 😅 Any genre will do naman, SLMT mga Kapsicums 💙

Going back to the year 2023, I was only hoping na makapagcontinue sila as SB19. Pagtatag era was really strong, lalo na yung golden child nA'Tin na "Gento" that ignited their foothold sa industry not only sa PH. Grabe yung turn of events kase sinayaw ng Enhypen, ATEEZ, Minzy, and many more na even now umaariba pa rin. Maganda na yung mga nangyayari dahil successful rin ang stops ng WT then biglang cancelled dahil sa trademark. High respect for them dahil nilaban nila at grabe ang comeback sa AAA in December of the same year.
At ngayon nga, mas marami pa ang naghihintay for them, we need to savor every moment. I would also like to thank my Kapsicums na walang patid ang support, we are STILL here! Sa next era nA'Tin, I hope we can be more patient, kind, and welcoming. Marami na tayong pinagdaanan at tiwala sa isa't isa ang A'Ting baon kasama na yung love. I just know na mas marami lalo ang maeenganyo to stan them pero at the same time, we will be more prone to people who will question them.
Let us all face this new chapter gracefully bilang magandang ehemplo lalo na sa mga magiging BAGONG TAO. Let us all show the 'Core' of this community in every way para continuous yung mantra nA'Tin 💙✨️

Still can't believe na tapos na yung con, antagal ko/nating nilook forward 'to. Naaalala ko pa rin yung goosebumps ko sa mga performances. I was actually unsure sa mga pahinga in-between lalo na at 1st solo con ng gurlz, pero laughtrip pa rin at kuhang-kuha ako. Aside from the talent and charisma, grabe ang wittiness ahahaha 🤭

Sayang at hindi ko nasunod ang plan ko. I checked my long wig kaso nagbuhol-buhol na sya at baka mahirap itame since outdoor ang ganap. Instead of being the moon, I decided to become the ocean. Mej 50-50 ako sa shoes ko here since di akma sa color palette hahaha 😅 Late me sa venue dahil galing work, natapos ang shift ng Sat at 5AM then nagpahinga before preparation.

I lost my spark after ko maghighschool. Naaalala ko before na I had dreams, something I always look forward to para pag-igihan ang pag-aaral. Pero something happened: pumanaw si Mama bago ako makapagtapos.
That was year 2017, and I felt like a zombie the following years. I did not do well on my entrance exam for college, hindi nakakapasa sa mga interview for work, and I don't even know what I want for myself. All the certainties I had when I was younger vanished. I even gave myself an ultimatum: kapag di pa rin natanggap eh 'hihinto' na lang.
Then fastforward sa year 2022 around April-May, I saw Stell's vid from PBB guesting. I laughed hard, yung tawa na hindi cover up para maitago yung lungkot. It was genuine laughter, and then I found myself searching for more. I binge-watched everything and became a solid A'Tin after 1 week. Through those days, nagpalipat-lipat ako ng bias but still Mahalima.
Before learning the talent, I fell in love with the kindness, humility, and persistence.They gave me light and inspired me to get myself together. That same year, I got hired on August 7 and still here with the same company. I was able to pay my bills and go to concerts so thankful I 'stayed.'
Pero syempre hindi naman nauubos ang problema. Sabi nga ni Stell eh pabalik-balik lang but it is different this time. I get to enjoy the problems more kase I am looking forward to how things will unfold after. Everytime na may mga pagsubok, I am getting stronger at mas nagiging patient ako sa sarili ko at sa situation.
At the end of the concert, everyone shared their thank-you message. It was heartwarming, and kinailangan kong tumingin sa taas to stop my tears. Sayang make-up ko huhu 😭 EME hehe. Pero on a serious note, SLMT Esbi 💙
Salamat for being my moon!
I consider myself the ocean. Though hindi ko naachieve sa looks/outfit ko, that was my inspo. Madalas na relevant ang moon sa mga MVs nila at sobra kong naaappreciate ang pagliliwanag when I was at my darkest point. Pero katulad ng pagbibigay liwanag ng buwan sa karagatan, it made me glisten and shine sa gitna ng 'gabi.' Kasabay ng pagtupad nyo sa mga pangarap nyo, I was able to regain myself.
Ginusto kong magpatuloy; it almost felt like the gravitational pull of the moon na nagkacause ng high tide. I was inspired to do well. I now live on my own as part of being independent. I learned how to play guitar and ukelele. I even conquered my fear of riding a motorcycle. Sympre, I get to enjoy going to places para sa mga ganap.
Being a fan made me a better person. It brings me joy and it calms my wavering thoughts. Kaya itatakbo ko ang SB19 patungong tagumpay, asahan nyong nandito ako palagi sa mga susunod na milestones. Marami mang magbago, maraming pagsubok, I will always find myself running towards the same group I fell in love with. Palaging mamahalin ang Mahalima 💙✨️

Been busy lately, nagbinge-watch ng One Piece at nag-aadjust sa WFH setup. While scrolling sa X, saw this post from Josh way back 2019. Still can't believe how far they've come, already established 1Z and producing artists under their label.
May mga negativities man sa paligid or mga hindi inaasahang pangyayari, marami pa ring blessings ang dumating. Akala ko malaking setback na before yung trademark nila pero they pushed through by releasing solos. As a result, mas nagstrengthen ang talent/skills nila not only as a group but also individually. Kaya sana we can always highlight ang mga magagandang pangyayari instead of focusing on other things.
In a span of 7 years going 8, maraming pinagdaanan. Pero continuously ang pag-evolve nila at ng kanilang artistry. From rookies to becoming that PPOP group everyone looked up to. Nagsindi ng movement para sa mas marami pang dreamers to follow their footsteps.
At ngayon, napakadami na ulit ang nabubuong groups. I will be forever a solid PPOP enthusiast at ilalaban ko ang talento ng Pilipinas. Alam kong sa SB19 pa lang, hindi ko na mapagkasya ang time at finances ko. Pero I would try harder to support other artists that connect with me.
Sa bawat post, comment, share na ginagawa ko ay dala ko palagi ang ultimate goal ng Mahalima to showcase Filipino music/talent. Naniniwala ako na hindi ito magagawa ng isang grupo lang. Saying that, sana patuloy lang ang ating suporta 💙
