My nose HURTS from my mask...Is there a solution?

My nose HURTS from my mask...Is there a solution?

So the past few days my mask has been irritating right under my nose. Last night it had a bit of pus in it so I cut a bandaid in half to use that as a buffer between my skin and the mask.

With the bandaid on I could still feel friction & a bit if pain, so I took a small piece of paper towel and used that as a cushion on top of the bandaid but it caused the top of my mask to leak some so I had to remove it.

But then I woke up to this and it hurts.

I've been "papping" since Dec '25 and never had something like this happen. Maybe I got a bad mask replacement? I will try swapping to a new cushion tonight and see if that helps.

My mask is the N30i and although it is a newer mask, it is NOT too tight. Not even close.

My mask ifs a few months old at this point.

So what causes this and how do I get this to heal?

Or should I call my doctor or DME and ask them?

Has anyone dealt with this before? The picture doesn't really do the sore justice. It's quite swollen and very red. So frustrating.

Thanks in advance!!

How to change humidity on Resmed Airsense 11...

My AirSense 11 is set to Auto mode, and for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to increase the humidity from 4 to 5.

For what it's worth, my DME set the machine to auto mode.

Do I need to take it out of Auto mode to change the humidity setting and then switch it back to Auto, or do I need to contact my DME and have them change it for me?

Unless I am missing something here?!?

Thanks so much in advance!

Is anyone willing to share a photo of how your mask fits your face? Especially those who use N30i?

I just want to make sure I am wearing my mask correctly and wanted to see other pap users, specially those who use N30i, photos of their mask on.

This is my fit. I have no idea if I am wearing it right or wrong. Which is why I am curious.

If you wear a different mask and would like to share how your mask fits, please do. Share! Everyone is welcome to share. You never know, your photo may help someone else.

Thanks in advance.

Confused about MyAir Streaks...

So this month I haven't been doing my best using my machine. I had a streak of 132 days but lost it when I accidentally fell asleep and didn't use my machine on the 22nd. I also didn't use my machine for 4 nights before that. I'm recovering from a major surgery and have had issues using my machine for some reason.

This month I used all 4 streak freezes and today when I checked MyAir app it showed I have 3 streak freezes left for this month, yet I already used them.

What is going on with this app? Can anyone explain what is happening here? Shouldn't the streak freezes reset on the 1st of a new month not at the end of the month?

I'm so confused.

Phantom pain after hysterectomy??

Is it possible to have uterine phantom pain after a complete hysterectomy?

My complete hysterectomy was on March 27th and for the past month I have been feeling cramps.

Obviously it isn't my uterus, but it feels like it is. It's truly the weirdest thing I have experienced since my hysterectomy.

Has anyone else felt phantom pains before or am I the only one?

So the last few days I have been noticing pretty gnarly pain, just in one place on my ear, (you see the red spot).. I've tried so many different pillows, I even ordered 3 expensive ones, and none of them help with my ear.

Has anyone dealt with this before and how did you fix it?

I've tried using my blanket as a buffer to put space in between my pillow and my ear. That really hasn't helped. I've tried switching and sleeping on my right side....I can't asleep on my right side at all. I've tried so many different types of pillows. None help. Forget sleeping on my back. That is absolutely impossible.

I am only able to sleep on my left side and it's obviously taking a toll on my ear. It seriously hurts. I have lidocaine cream I've been putting on it to dull the pain. Regardless of the lidocaine cream, it still hurts.

Any ideas, anyone? I'm desperate at this point. This is a nightmare.

Hey girls. So as I have shared before I had a complete hysterectomy on March 27th 2026. At my follow up appt my surgeon stated that I have a vaginal vault collapse.

I was wondering how many of you who had a hysterectomy had a vaginal vault collapse? What did you do about it and would you consider surgical repair?

I am going for a surgical repair consult in July. I haven't decided what I am going to do just yet but wanted to see how common this is for women who have hysterectomys.

Hey.... I am 4 weeks and 1 day post op (complete hysterectomy).

When are we able to resume baths? At 6 weeks are we cleared for baths?

And this might sound like a stupid question but will baths cause the vaginal cuff stitches to dissolve quicker?

I don't want to do anything that is going to interrupt my healing.

I am a bath girl not a shower girl which is why I am asking.

Thanks in advance!
