Hello, AZ Native in Mesa here! I’m a young adult in my early 20’s that’s looking to start a new hobby! I grew up on a little farm, so I’m familiar with the concept of gardening. Would love tips for planting flowers, herbs for cooking and general good smells, and fruits/vegetables. Which ones are the easiest for beginners to care for? Is a sheet really enough to care for the plants during the winter to prevent freeze? Preferably species that can grow in pots because we will be moving in a few months. Also, any book recommendations are welcome, as I am a big reader and love to learn new things.
