Recent dislocation (my fourth) and I currently have an immobiliser brace issued from hospital. I will want a brace/support for the next few months, but anything like a sleeve will fall down. Any suggestions please? I need stability and flexibility most importantly!
I fully dislocated my patella around 3 hours ago and (maybe stupidly) put it back in place almost immediately. I've had three dislocations before, all the same knee, many years ago, and I was instantly aware of how much it hurts and thought F this.
Even though the cap is back in place, I can't bend my leg at all in any direction without horrific pain that makes me feel ill and dizzy. All I can do is move my toes and ankle without issue.
Is it likely I damaged something this time? Is it normal to have this pain up to 3 hours after relocation?
