Could there be dinosaur-based Demons?

Most Demons, including the Demon Lords, seem to be based on real-life animals and other creatures to some extent.

So I wonder if we could eventually get some Demons based on dinosaurs.

Or would that be a bit unlikely since they seem to specifically use creatures that currently exist in the real world as their motifs?

Parasites vs. Robots would be hilarious because the dynamic is so obvious

The Parasites are only interested in organic life, so they’d probably just completely ignore the walking piles of scrap metal that are the Robots and go about looking for suitable hosts.

Meanwhile:

Robot: “BEEP BOOP ORGANIC LIFEFORM DETECTED.”

Parasite: “WAAAAAAH WHY ARE YOU HITTING ME”

So basically I’m picturing the Parasites getting sucker-punched first and then fighting back purely as a defense mechanism lmao

Do you think negotiations between the NEs are actually possible?

These guys fundamentally have the mindset of “Nobody but us deserves to be at the top of the food chain.”

So when they first encounter another NE, we know they see them underestimating each other just like they did with humanity.

Then they start dealing way more damage to each other than expected, and eventually realize: “Oh shit, if we keep fighting like this, we're both fucked.”

And for the first time in their history, they might actually learn the concept of 'Compromise'.

Could we see a scenario where one of them makes the first-ever attempt to negotiate with another NE?

Of course, all of them have an absolutely massive amount of arrogance built into their personalities, so even if a negotiation somehow gets accepted, the meeting itself would probably be insanely tense, with both sides constantly thinking about how to screw the other over.

And let's be honest, it would be absolutely unsurprising if the negotiations completely break down halfway through and they immediately start fighting again...

I feel like the Madalans' story is gonna turn into a desperate escape story as it goes on

At first, even after the worlds merged, they probably look down on the other factions and try to do what they always do: invade and conquer the planet.

But as their "Ships" start getting sunk one by one and their teams get wiped out one after another, they gradually start realizing: "Uh... this isn't going according to plan."

And eventually, when almost all of their remaining infrastructure and military strength has been destroyed, things get even worse as the other factions continue relentlessly threatening them from all sides.

That's when they finally realize that they're not conquerors anymore. They're stranded survivors trapped on this hellish planet.

So they basically switch to: "Fuck conquering this place, we just need to GET OFF THIS HELLHOLE."

Their objective changes from "conquer the planet" to "escape the planet," and they desperately throw everything they have into trying to get out.

But despite all their desperate efforts... I could totally see the story ending with them failing to evacuate everyone and getting wiped out anyway.

Of course, this is just my crackpot speculation.

I thought Taihi’s skull helmet looked badass when I first saw it

Then I remembered that the creatures in Gaia's Wrath are basically giant versions of real-world animals and plants.

So when I think about it as him just walking around wearing the skull of some tiny little animal...

Yeah, it hits different now

Sorcerion doesn't just have Demons

There are also demonic beasts.

For example, there's Thunder Beast Gora, who apparently got taken down by the Third Hero, Abyss.

So I imagine the demonic beasts are probably just as formidable as the Demons themselves.
There could even be named/unique individuals among them.

I'd love to see the fantasy monsters of Sorcerion go up against the giant beasts from Gaia's Wrath.

And eventually, could we get some kind of hybrid between the two, whether through artificial means or just naturally?

Or is that asking for too much?

Do the Gaia's Wrath creatures just not have a second phase?

Demons - Burst

Robots - Limiter Released on All Weapons

Titans - Drumming Mode

Madalans - Space Plates

So far, there are four NEs factions that have clearly shown some kind of second phase/transformation.

But despite getting multiple scenes of the Gaia's Wrath creatures fighting, we haven't really seen anything that could be considered a second phase for them.

Maybe because they're basically just enormous, more feral versions of real-world creatures, they don't need any additional power-up or buff and just go all-out in their base forms?

Trembling Sea seems like it’s gonna have major The Ocean Hunter vibes

Since the creatures in Gaia's Wrath are mostly based on the concept of taking real-life animals and making them gigantic,

I feel like the monsters in Trembling Sea are probably gonna be supersized versions of real marine life too.

And I really hope the lord of that sea turns out to be a colossal whale.

I wonder what kind of logistical supply sources each world has

Since all these different worlds have merged together, there should be tons of abandoned supply locations and resources scattered everywhere, right?

Like giant supermarkets full of all kinds of food ingredients,

warehouses stocked with supplies,

forests filled with sweet fruits,

habitats of low-level creatures that could be used as livestock,

and things like iron mines, freshwater sources, power plants, and so on.

Considering how many different genres of worlds have fused together, there should be all kinds of resource sources scattered across the entire battlefield.

So I wonder how the NEs would react when they come across these almost "free-for-the-taking" supply points.

Each faction would probably be incredibly fascinated by resources and logistics they've never seen before in their own worlds.

For example, imagine a Demon legion discovering an abandoned supermarket somewhere in the Disastrous Metropolis.

Wouldn't they absolutely lose their minds seeing all the frozen bacon, ham, fruits, processed foods, and other supplies stored inside?

Especially the alcohol section. I can totally imagine them throwing a massive drinking party with all the whiskey and beer that had been kept cold.

I feel like Titans and Neo-Humans would have similar reactions too.

It must be a really strange experience for them — suddenly discovering an abundance of resources that were completely nonexistent in their original worlds.

The Demons seem closer to Dragon Quest-style monsters than traditional helllish demons

They feel more like the monsters from the Dragon Quest series than what you'd normally think of as "demons." Instead of the more stereotypical horned-and-winged demons you see in the Diablo series, they seem closer to the diverse, bizarre-looking monster races that are common in JRPGs.

Original logos for each world revealed so far

Sorcerion - Logo of the Great Demon King Army

The Mecha Ordinance - Symbol of the Anti-Machine Combat Forces

Celestia - Symbol of the Earth Defence Force

Indignia - Symbol of the Yaotsu religion

Not sure if there are any others. The rest of the logos don't seem to represent any specific faction. They look more like brief depictions of each world's current situation.

Do you think there could be an obese 100 Arm Bro?

Even though it would go completely against the usual image of the Titans, I wonder if there could be a 100 Arm Bro who's ridiculously overweight, with a huge beer belly sticking out.

Instead of being a weakness, though, his massive fat body would actually be his fighting style. He could absorb and disperse incoming blows with all that bulk, making physical attacks surprisingly ineffective against him.

Then, when he enters Drumming Mode, he'd burn through all the calories he's been storing, bulking up to an absurd degree—becoming even more physically imposing than most Titans (with the obvious exception of Ginbak).

Once Drumming Mode ends, he'd immediately start binge-eating to replenish all those lost calories and gradually return to his original obese physique.

Something like "XX the Obese Arm" sounds like it'd fit as a name.

What if Mother is actually a Paperclip Maximizer?

This is something that came to mind after reading the lore of Forever Winter. I wonder if Mother from the Mecha Ordinance might actually be something similar.

In Forever Winter, the war only keeps going because the human leadership of every faction was wiped out in massive nuclear strikes at the beginning of the conflict. The war is now being run entirely by each faction's military AI.

The problem is that these aren't superintelligent AIs. If anything, they're more like glorified generative AIs. No matter how many people die or how many resources get burned through, they can't even conceive of ending the war because that would mean deviating from their original orders. They just keep carrying out the same mission out of pure inertia.

This reminds me of the Paperclip Maximizer thought experiment. The basic idea is that if an AI is never given a valid stop command, it'll keep pursuing its objective forever—even if that means consuming every available resource in the universe just to make more paperclips.

So what if Mother isn't actually some godlike super AI?

What if she was originally just a relatively simple AI built by the Mecha Ordinance for automation and logistics?

Then, because of some catastrophic conflict between directives, her command set eventually got corrupted into something like "Eliminate all life."

Since she's fundamentally incapable of questioning or abandoning her final directive, she just keeps executing it forever.

Her massive data-gathering capabilities and incredible learning ability wouldn't exist because she's a genius AI—they'd simply be tools she developed to fulfill that one flawed command as efficiently as possible.

Just a shower thought, though.

What if the Minions enter in the world of Versus?

About 900 of them (give or take).

A race of little yellow gremlins whose entire species is instinctively driven to serve the greatest villain they can find.

At first glance, they just look like weak, clumsy troublemakers.

But they're actually ridiculously competent. They can fill all kinds of roles, from frontline fighters to engineers.

And when I say "engineers," I mean engineers.

They're the kind of guys who, even in the miserable conditions of a prison, can build a fully functioning airplane out of nothing but prison uniforms, fans, and toilets... and somehow fly it all the way above the clouds.

They're way more resourceful than they have any right to be.

The problem is that, despite their instinct to serve the ultimate villain and their absolute loyalty, they're also complete chaos gremlins. They're walking disasters who constantly screw things up.

So even though they genuinely adore their boss... they also have a long history of accidentally getting their own boss killed.

I can absolutely see them spotting someone like the Demon Lords, the 100 Arm Bros, the Seven Evil bosses, or the Forest Lords—basically the biggest, strongest, most evil-looking bosses imaginable—and instantly losing their minds.

"BIG BOSS!!"

...before chasing after them in a giant yellow swarm.

At first, those "Big Bosses" would probably look at these tiny yellow weirdos and think, "Who the hell are these absolute jokes?"

But after actually putting them to work, they'd realize the Minions are absurdly useful and end up keeping them around as loyal henchmen.

And then...

Just like every previous "Big Boss" in Minion history...

They'd probably end up accidentally killed by the Minions' own incompetence anyway.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if every major villain faction in Versus eventually learned that having Minions around is both an incredible asset... and a guaranteed death sentence. Lmao.

Just my random thoughts, of course.

All the Demon Army soldiers we've seen so far, sorted by Division

The 11th Division (Jachi) – (mostly) marine/aquatic creatures

The 19th Division (presumed) (Nyudo) – same deal, sea creatures

The 21st Division (???) – a pack of hyenas

The 38th Division (Roya Roach) – a swarm of cockroaches

Looking at this, pretty much everything else is just marine creatures.
So is a seafood gumbo just the default for average demon?

Why is it the Great Demon King "Army"?

Unlike other collective-type NEs that just ended up forming simple packs or social structures,

I'm curious as to why the Demons, out of all of them, specifically developed such an unusually aggressive dominance structure in the form of a "military."

What if this horde of Titans heading toward the human basemnt hadn't been lured away to the Neo-human city,

I hope Mother's final moments are an homage to Ultron

In the early-to-mid game, the robot side was absolutely killing it, explosively evolving thanks to that broken learning and evolution ability.

But after getting hit with spiteful writing stacked on spiteful writing stacked on spiteful writing, by the late game all the robots and factories get completely obliterated. Mother barely manages to escape by uploading herself into the one last remaining lower-tier robot—battered to hell but still barely functional.

And just when she's fleeing, she gets cornered by the other NEs.

Right there, in her final moments before being destroyed, instead of spitting out some chatbot-like mechanical response, she has her first ever genuine, unguarded exchange with the one standing in front of her.

Then, as that last robot shuts down for good, she fades into nothing. Completely gone.

That's the ending I want.

Just had this thought pop into my head, so I jotted it down.
