Saw on Tik tok someone saw these four new scent lab mini + returning Amber Suede in store

- soft Oud
- matcha milk
- juicy fig
- Manuka honey
- amber suede

Really want to smell them! Can’t waitttttt

I’ve asked today and sounds like we might see these Monday August 24th? Any chance they could come a day earlier when my coupon expires….

Any reviews? Which ones are worth it?

I think Amber Suede is very underrated. Glad it’s back. It’s a warm amber vanilla type scent that is unisex. Love it! Reminded me of some of the base notes of Belle without the florals and a little less sweet.

Which are you excited for?

Any love for the new aromatherapy Sandalwood and Vetiver scents?

I think there’s also suppose to be Black Chamomile and Eucalyptus Tea coming out for fall 2 soon right? Has anyone seen those in back stock? Wondering will it come out Monday (August 24)?

I have a coupon expiring soon and was thinking of blind buying one of the ones already out such as Sandalwood or Vetiver. Though the two upcoming ones sound really good too.

Any reviews for Sandalwood or Vetiver? Which one is more unique? Haven’t heard much about these though they were snuck on the website in the last week.

(Men’s Shop) Santal Ridge dropped today

Or at least I think it did?

Not seeing body spray product form for Santal Ridge. Only cologne, body cream and body wash. Is the body spray coming?

Here are the scent notes:

> An untamed exploration of citrus, woods and moss with a deeply grounding, adventurous edge. Top notes:
bergamot zest, crisp aromatics, fresh fig leaf, Anjou pear.
Heart notes: sheer iris, blue jasmine, ambrette essence, wild moss. Base notes: silver amber, rich sandalwood, Caribbean juniperwood, clean skin musks.

I love the scent image. Reminds me of a terrarium.

“Santal” means sandalwood in French by the way.

Has anyone smelled this one? Wondering if the new Aromatherapy Sandalwood scent is similar.

Poll results so far: Jack or Sally scent preference! Winner is. . . Jack!

The poll is still open for two days if you’d still like to cast your vote! https://www.reddit.com/r/bathandbodyworks/s/R4Id7vmFon

Was wondering which Nightmare Before Christmas scent was preferred by users on this sub so far.

I made this poll yesterday on launch day. Hopefully more will have smelled the two scents since then

But yeah it looks like those who voted definitely liked Jack the most of the two.

But the second most chosen option was people didn’t like either scent?

When will the new scent lab minis come out online?

I’ve heard some people say they are already seeing the new fall 2 scent lab minis in store like matcha milk, Manuka honey, fig, etc.

Would really like to BOPIS one. Do we know if it will be coming out soon?

Thanks

Nightmare Before Christmas collab says “limited edition”

Source: ANG on Tik Tok

Haven’t seen these words on a BBW collab poster before. . . “Limited edition.” This seems like a brand new collab type from BBW. By the sound of it is not like the Disney Princess or Mandalorian collab, but much more limited.

I heard that the collab is just going to take up the front half of the Halloween display

Some observations from the video:
- The spiral hill candle holder looks really cool but is also kinda gray
- the zero soap holder does look kinda odd from the front
- the double sided coin purse looks much thicker than other coin purses and also larger. Maybe 2-3x the depth? Looks like it can hold a lot more stuff.
- the mayor pocketbac holder is cool because the face actually spins. But it does look larger than the other two pocketbac holders. The other two look more regular size. The oogie boogie looks like a hard plastic material and does not have a backside.

This is a neat collection. I totally want to smell it and check it out. But it seems made to sell out within a very short amount of time. I do feel like I have wasted weeks anticipating this collection for it to appear to be so fleeting. Not even going to be able to see much in person most likely. We’ve all been gnawing on rumors since April. And what? This dust mite of a collection appears…

The Preserve collection & the perfumer behind Wild Blackberry Jam: Gabriela Chelariu

Fall 2 dropped today with the new Preserve collection and Wild Blackberry Jam.

BBW Inc released this media article about the collection and the perfumer behind Wild Blackberry Jam: https://www.bbwinc.com/media/stories/introducing-preserve-bath-body-works-harvest-inspired-collection-for-fall

Perfumer: Gabriela Chelariu of Firmenich

> Preserve is designed to capture the feeling of a fall getaway and bring it home. At the heart of the collection is Wild Blackberry Jam, a fresh take on a classic fall fruit fragrance. To bring the scent to life, Bath & Body Works partnered with Firmenich Principal Perfumer Gabriela Chelariu to capture the balance of juicy blackberry sweetness and homemade warmth.

> “This fragrance plays into the ongoing appetite for modern gourmands, combining juicy Countryside Blackberry with the smooth creaminess of Velvet Fig and the warmth of Amber Woods,” Chelariu said. “It’s a balanced composition—fruity but not too sweet, creamy without feeling heavy and grounded by a soft woody base—creating something that feels both easy to wear and addictive.”

I haven’t had the chance to smell Wild Blackberry Jam. By most accounts so far it is not a gourmand. But perhaps “modern gourmand” makes sense for it as some can smell a jammy note?

If you’d like to read more about Gabriela here is her Fragrantica page: https://www.fragrantica.com/noses/Gabriela_Chelariu.html

The page credits her for her hand in creating some fan favorites such as Pink Pineapple Sunrise, Saltwater Breeze, Toasted Praline & Pear, Vanilla Romance and You’re the One.

Upcoming fall 2 body care: Preserved collection @bathandbodybro

@bathandbodybro helpfully listed scent notes;

- Wild Blackberry Jam: countryside blackberry, velvet fig, amber woods
- White Pumpkin & Chai: cinnamon cider, spiced
pumpkin, vanilla glaze
- Autumn Drive: wild raspberry, warm amber,
vanilla birch
- Whipped Honey & Vanilla: honey drizzle, blossoming neroli, whipped vanilla bean
- Champagne Apple & Honey: crisp apple, sparkling champagne, jasmine honey, autumn woods

I’m so excited to smell the new Wild Blackberry Jam and the returning White Pumpkin and Chai. I have heard WBJ is not a gourmand but a nice fruity scent. Am wondering if White Pumpkin and Chai is any more pumpkin than Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin, or a similar sort of scent?

Anyway the packaging for this Preserved collection has gotten very mixed reviews from those who like its simple elegance to those who dislike its minimalism/lack of design. Personally I am a big fan—I like the patterns on the bottle the most.

Which scent are you most excited for?

New fall 2 finds @queenofthegirlgeeks

The autumn bouquet wallflower is so pretty actually

The wild blackberry jam single wick and some other single wicks have a new design for the lid, like a jam jar.

Has anyone smelled wild blackberry jam? When is the body care coming out?

August body mist line up! What’s yours?

Here’s my thoughts on my lineup this month! Many of these are scents I’ve grown to appreciate a little more or a little less over time. Exploring them more this month!

- Velvet Sugar: got this in June with SAS. Wasn’t such a fan of the artificial strawberry note to begin with. But now kinda craving it. I can see why BBW brings out Ghoul Friend in summer. Artificial strawberry is fun to wear.
- Sweet Pea: people say Ghoul Friend is like a darker version of Sweet Pea. Similar notes here.
- Plumeria: I didn’t really like this when I got it last year. But someone said Bright & Breezy reminds them of Plumeria—think it’s the red apple note. Yeah I can see why they say that. I actually enjoy Bright & Breezy and ironically while they said they didn’t like both because of the similarity, Bright & Breezy is making me appreciate Plumeria more. It does have like six other notes that are different and lots of white florals so it’s not the same by any means.
- Bright & Breezy: does remind me of the scent when my hair air dries after using a fruity apple shampoo. But I also like it.
- Rainkissed Leaves: I wasn’t that thrilled with this one not because I didn’t enjoy it but because I have a lot of fresh scents. But now wearing it for weeks I regret not getting a back up. It’s a light but pleasant spa scent.
- Carrot Charm: sometimes I’m a little on the fence about this one since orange can be iffy on me but I do enjoy the sugared musk.
- Saltwater Breeze: I do love the freshness of this one though I feel like it has a little detergent note. The violet maybe?
- Rapunzel: actually have grown to appreciate this one a lot. It smells so good now? Perfect scent for August with its sunset glow solar kind of feel.
- Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin: this is an unexpectedly fresh scent. It doesn’t feel too heavy to wear now in August. I think it’s the apple and jasmine in there. Also like a tea scent to me. I have blasted through this mini and am more than halfway done. Guess I’ll get the full size?
- At the Beach: why did I dislike this one before? It’s actually pretty unique and enjoyable to wear even though it also does remind me of the salty oceanic scent of the seafood aisle.

Look at what just dropped at Vera Bradley!

A new Nightmare Before Christmas collection just dropped at former BBW collaber Vera Bradley shop.

I did see BBW will get a Zero pocketbac holder and it looks like Vera Bradley will get a Zero keychain charm.

Nightmare Before Christmas also seems to have a new collection at Walgreens and some other stores like Ross.

I also did see a clock tower for $129 at Costco

I have noticed that the brands that collab with BBW also do many collabs simultaneously

Like Vera Bradley also did a Disney Princess collaboration when BBW had theirs this spring.

The Wet n Wild Elf makeup brand at Walmart had a big Disney villains makeup collection when the Disney villains collab came out last fall.

Very Violet eau de parfum is online, $64.95

The box looks pretty cute. Looks like it folds out into a (Violet?) flower

The cap is faceted like the body mist cap

I like the gold spritzer

If you haven’t already seen it, the very Violet fragrance does have a lot of scent notes (see pic).

What are your thoughts on fall 1 so far? Favorite, least favorite, most unique body care?

Credit to @entermpear for image. Reposting it as it’s a great visual for fall 1. Sun Ripened Raspberry is included in the image but I hear it is moved to Fall 2/August 25.

It’s August 1st and leaks are coming out for fall 2. Thought we could take a moment to look back at fall 1 as July has ended. Tomorrow Sunday is also the last day for the $5.95 body mist sale (which does exclude fruit fusion unfortunately). Great time for your recommendations and review!

By the way, August 2nd is when summer semi annual sale will be boxed up and put away I hear. Another step into making space for fall.

Fall 1

- Halloween spooky carnival (returning scents plus new Midnight Marshmallow)
- Old Soul collection
- Oud collection
- Very Violet: new signature scent
- Into the Night repackage
- Sun Ripened Raspberry (moved to fall 2)
- Fruit Fusions

Questions

- what are your thoughts on fall 1 so far?
- favorite & least favorite fall 1 body care?
- which fall 1 body care is the most unique to you?

@Entermpear website is up! I love seeing all the old packagings

@entermpear announced that the website they’ve been working on is up today. They included an access link in their Instagram caption which I screenshotted

The website is available in Vietnamese and English language. It requires making an account to access the site. And you will get a one time passcode sent to your email as a final registration step.

The site is not quite optimized yet since it’s just out of beta testing it sounds like.

But one of the functions it has which I think is cool is that you can see many of the packagings a sent has had across its product forms over the years (I just chose to filter by body mist for this post).

I think the database is incomplete right now but it does allow users to add or submit images for review I believe. Maybe it can be more complete in time?

One of main uses of the site appears to be creating your collection from the database and saving it to albums. And also voting on scents (their notes and qualities) like Fragrantica.

I do really like both ideas but think maybe each aspect can be simplified and streamlined. I do wish it was easier to add scents to my collection from the search page. And I like the social aspect and crowdsourcing of the site. But I also dislike having to create an account to view the site. I wish that was a next step not a first step.

Anyway, on to my favorite aspect of the site so far…

Old packagings galore!

I’ve been working hard to catalog my growing body mist collection via Google sheet. I’ve grown curious about old packagings of the body mists I own and have begun to trace back old release dates of those too. It’s nice to be able to see which season BBW releases the scents in originally. And also how the vibe of the packaging has changed over the years. Sometimes the best most accurate packaging to represent a scent is a previous year’s.

Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin
- For instance I do like seeing the Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin has confused and lied to people over the years haha by showing baked goods on its label when it’s not a bakery scent. Most years it just shows pumpkins and autumn leaves though. Some packagings are quite elegant also! I feel like the packaging which show SCP as a fresh scent are the better ones.

Sweet Pea
- Really love one of the older packaging of Sweet Pea… I feel I missed out. It’s neat that the website list when the packaging came out (my favorite is the 03/2023 version) for Google sheet aholics like myself.

Japanese Cherry Blossom
- Didn’t really appreciate the current Japanese Cherry Blossom packaging (too modern in my opinion). But it does make sense against the older ones in that it kept up the red and off white theme.

Complaints

In the spirit of user feedback…

- wish there was a back button. When I click back in my browser it takes me to login page again
- I’d like to be able to search “Japanese Cherry blossom fine fragrance mist” in one search box instead of having to use two. One for name and one for category.
- even though I can navigate most of the site in English, some still remains in Vietnamese. Especially the important part of asking for a one time passcode via email, which I had to google translate.
- the various buttons sometimes covers the images too much
- the collection section needs to be prettier so I can screenshot to Reddit

Wild Blackberry Jam & Autumn Drive spotted @lifeinsidethepage

Life Inside the Page appears to be allowing screenshots and reposts of her blog at this time as has been communicated to me on this sub. So hopefully this post is ok. If so, thank you for allowing me to post.

Please visit their blog here to see the rest of Fall 2 body care listed out. There’s some good scents upcoming!

https://lifeinsidethepage.blogspot.com/2026/07/bath-body-works-fall-fragrances-are-best.html?m=1

Autumn Drive

Shown is a picture of Autumn Drive in its new packaging. It appears to be similar packaging as the upcoming Whipped Honey & Vanilla that has been posted about here

As I remember it Autumn Drive was a pleasant but unexpected scent last year in that it reminded me of watermelon bubblegum similar to Pink Watermelon Blast. I wonder if it’ll be an ok alternative for those who haven’t gotten Watermelon Whirl (Fruit Fusions)

Wild Blackberry Jam

This is a brand new scent that will be in body care, candles, wallflower and room spray for fall 2.

I love the color of the bottle! A deep purple. The simple image is nice too. I think this will look great on the shelf with the orange colors of the other products and the harvest theme.

The notes for Wild Blackberry Jam are:
> countryside blackberry, velvet fig, amber woods

Fruit Fusion free shipping promo haul! Jam Jar question & review

Packaging:

Nice job with packaging. The hand sanitizer came in a little baggie that was taped neatly to prevent leaks. The body lotion was wrapped in shrink wrap plastic. And there was bubble wrap and the air pillows (what are they called?). Is BBW improving their game?

Haul:

Jam Jar pocketbac holder.
- So cute! Didn’t notice the toast charm was gold glitter which is a nice touch. Like the texture on the toast.
- But it has like this scratch around the top of the jar, above the ribbon? Does all of these Jam Jars have this? Should I exchange it?
- the rubber for this pocketbac holder is much thinner than the Book Stack cat one (very thick, hard to press, has a plastic sleeve inside?). It makes the sound of squishing air out (like an air soft gun) when I press the sides to get the liquid of the hand sanitizer out.
- picture: Jam Jar vs Book Stack Cat and Star Basket. Think Jam Jar has the loosest fit, widest opening and thinnest silicone of the three. But it is good enough to keep the pocketbac in. There is a bit of lip of rubber around the edges making a little bit snugger fit. I can wish for improvements but I suppose it’ll do.

Pumpkin Carving pocketbac:
- I think this is what sweet cinnamon pumpkin should have smelled like. At least some of the notes anyway. It has a pleasant warm creamy pumpkin Vanila scent like pie filling. Does layer well with SCP. Would make a good body care. I recommend.

Banana Blend body lotion:
- I read the inspiration for this scent from the perfumer was banana smoothies during childhood. Yes there is actually a natural banana scent in there. But the banana runts candy scent does come first. The overall scent reminds me the most of banana pudding such as the ice cream by Blue Bell. There is the pleasant but artificial scent of vanilla pudding. Plus some real banana slices. And perhaps some nilla wafer cookies in the dry down (the “radiant amber” scent?).
- I do prefer the realism and sophistication of Dreaming of Rio more. Florals (gardenia), slightly green young banana, cedarwood. I got Banana Blend lotion to hopefully go with dreaming of Rio. I think it may or may not work as there are shared notes (the realistic banana). Will see.
- banana blend might be more juvenile but it is nicely balanced and fun in its own right. I think I might get a kick out of wearing it.

Did you end up liking or not liking Salted Shorelines?

Do you like Salted Shorelines?

Was thinking about giving this one a second chance before it goes away with SAS…

When I first smelled it it did remind me of men’s cologne and like a cleaning product. But when I sniffed it again later I thought maybe there was something I could like. I did come around to liking At the Beach and was wondering if I might like Salted Shorelines. But it’s been a while.

What are your honest thoughts on Salted Shorelines? Did you end up appreciating this one if you didn’t initially? Or did you end up not liking it?

Thanks!

Some reviews of Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin I agree with… (Fragrantica)

I heard Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin has changed over the years (sometimes chemical-y; this year I hear it smells good and is more sweet?). Some of the reviews of SCP on Fragrantica stretch all the way back to 2012 across different packagings. I did see one year there was a pumpkin swirl cake on the label of SCP which did not represent the scent well.

So maybe these Fragrantica reviews are describing different iterations of the body mist when it did or didn’t smell differently, hard to say. Still enjoy them though and agree with a lot.

Fragrantica: https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Bath-Body-Works/Sweet-Cinnamon-Pumpkin-28463.html

My updated review on SCP mini

Anyway I bought a mini of Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin in the past two weeks and have been enjoying it actually. I didn’t think there was any vanilla in it but when I spray it a lot and it dries down yes actually I can smell a subtle and pleasant vanilla that makes me think of like a pumpkin flavored cold foam. But SCP is also an odd one since sometimes I also get like a unisex note from it that reminds me very slightly of Sweater Weather body mist, the cologne-y one with sun crisped apple. But it is undetectable at other times and I enjoy the slight sugary quality of SCP (there is no sugar in Sweater Weather) which I also didn’t think was there to begin with, that “spoonful of sugar” note.

Personally I think SCP could make a decent unisex body mist. But I am seeing some reviews on Fragrantica where there are male profile pictures and their reviews are saying that the scent is too sugary for them but they would like it as a room spray. So maybe that’s that. It’s funny because I didn’t even think SCP body mist was sweet at first but wearing it yes it is like an orange clove tea to me. Maybe with a single teaspoon (not tablespoon) of sugar rather than two or three spoonfuls.

I did find out Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin wallflower mentions “fresh ground cloves” in its fragrance notes but the body mist doesn’t. However the body mist does still show whole cloves in its scent image. Personally I do get cloves from SCP but it is on the subtle side like a watered down clove tea rather than eating ground clove spice directly. I know others say they don’t get clove though.

Fragrantica reviews: my thoughts

Going to write my response to the reviews one by one in order I have them

- 1. I agree Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin is not a gourmand at all. Actually though, the fragrance notes do list ginger snap (cookie?) and I can smell the spices of a ginger snap cookie in SCP pretty clearly. Ginger snap cookies are not very sweet and I don’t think SCP is either. I don’t smell any cookie scent though but I can imagine SCP as something like a watery chai tea with a splash of milk (maybe it’s the vanilla giving a little creamy factor) that would go well with a ginger snap cookie.
- 2. I don’t really think of laundry when I smell SCP. But reading that description I can kinda get it. I think there is a bergamot in SCP, something that smells like a blue color. This is the part of SCP that reminds of Sweater Weather body mist (totally different scent than the candle) which smells like a blue autumn dusk to night sky to me. I think SCP smells like a daytime scent though of like orange leaves against a bright blue sky like someone said in the next reviews.
- 3. Totally agree SCP smells like a tea. An expensive tea, I don’t think so. Maybe an expensive tea would have more spices more distinctly. But a pleasant tea yes. It kind of reminds me of the orange ginger mint tea at Panera Bread from The Republic of Tea which is described as creating a “soft and luscious” cup of tea and does include bergamot. I don’t think I get jasmine or jasmine tea specifically but SCP does smell unexpectedly airy for the spicy scent it has been described as.
- 4. There is apple in SCP’s scent notes and I do get it too. Also clove.
- 5. Such great imagery: - SCP is like the first chilly night in October or“brilliant orange leaves against bright blue skies...” Yes I think SCP is still a warm scent like a warm autumn day. But it does also have a brisk or crisp quality too, the more I smell it. I don’t gravitate towards warm scents that much so I wonder if SCP actually is cooler than I initially thought.
- 6. Yeah I agree I think SCP is a pretty good scent that would match the scent of a pumpkin patch and carving pumpkins. I feel like I would name it Pumpkin Picking rather than Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin because it is more fresh and atmospheric than I anticipated. It’s not that sweet, not that cinnamon (to me) and not that pumpkin. It is all of those notes though mixed into either air or water like an autumn day or like a tea.
- 7. I do agree SCP has a bubblegum quality though it’s not like super distinct or like a long lasting impression to me. There is some kind of fruitiness though. Maybe it reminds me of juicy fruit bubblegum which is like a fruit medley gum that leans toward apple a bit.
- 8. I wouldn’t have thought to describe SCP as soapy. I could see it making an excellent fall scented hand soap though.
- 9. Yeah maybe SCP is like big red gum, double bubble and cream soda. I think there is more going on that makes me think of like a tea with orange, ginger, clove and maybe like a sugared mint I don’t know. But I think the comparison is also accurate, I do get it. Cream soda is a good description of the type of vanilla in SCP, though in a very light way. BBW describes it as “vanilla pod” or “whipped vanilla.” The expanded notes of SCP said “spiced vanilla” and “hint of rum.” I don’t really get rum at all but I feel like cream soda would go good with rum and that’s what I smell here. I agree SCP can be worn in warm weather—it’s now July and it is not too much on me though it does feel out of season. I agree SCP is a casual scent like to wear with denim overalls or on a stroll close to home.
- 10. This is a very long review, 4 pages long. I agree with a lot of points in this review. I think SCP is “refreshing” but also yes exactly it is like the “warm sun” in the fall. I wouldn’t have thought to say it smells solar because I associate that with beachy. Maybe it is the orange citrus note I’m smelling. This reviewer mentions “sweet potato type of pumpkin sweetness” and I think this makes sense since sweet potato is naturally sweet and raw pumpkin actually is kind of not. I think SCP does have the sweetness of sweet potato. This reviewer also mentions the ginger in SCP gives almost a minty scent and you know what they’re right. I also totally agree SCP smells like some fall crispness while the weather is still warm and there is some tea brewing. It also does sound like a great scent to wear while taking dogs for a walk as the scent becomes “one with the breeze” (I do find SCP unexpectedly breezy). Their description of the collisions of scents is well done too. Yes the scent eventually does morph into something softer and sweeter. I’m not really familiar with the 2021 packaging they’re describing but it does sound great if it depicts a sun, pumpkin in grassy field and some flowers. I agree that is more accurate to SCP to me than anything bakery like a pumpkin swirl cake that was on one of the later 2024 label.

Final thoughts

Reading these Fragrantica reviews does actually make me appreciate SCP more and actually maybe want a full size body mist. I get SCP isn’t that appreciated on the sub. I feel like I get it since there’s unexpectedly a lot going on in SCP that sometimes is at odds with each other. But I still do find it a pleasant scent even if I’ll agree some of these collisions doesn’t make it high end or niche as some of the reviews said. Just an affordable body mist that smells nice.

I feel like SCP is like a more warm and inviting, sweeter relative to Sweater Weather body mist somehow. Maybe the wife wears Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin during the warmer autumn days, and the husband wears Sweater Weather in the colder autumn time? And maybe they wear each others fragrance sometimes? They probably both shop Ralph Lauren. There’s a note in Sweater Weather which might relate to Polo Blue a bit? Anyway i did try to layer Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin and Sweater Weather body mist and it did work very well. For those interested there is likely to be Sweater Weather body mist in fall 2 or 3 as an online exclusive. The candle might be in store but it’s likely to be the alternative unrelated juniper scent under the same name.

Anyway I’m starting to get the vision for SCP.

Wild Blackberry Jam spotted! @entermpear new website upcoming

@entermpear announced their new website endeavor today. It started as a personal reference database but has been expanded for people to use. Seems like you can track your collection with it easily. The website is not up yet but is upcoming.

Their post included a few sneak peaks at fall 2 including the candle for Wild Blackberry Jam (which sounds delicious). I asked the sub today and yes there will be body care for this scent. I love the deep purple color

Some of the candles in the image are online already for fall 1.
