Genuine question about special surfers

I wanna know just how many Special Surfers are there in Subway Surfers? like we have a grand total of 535 characters (312 of which are base characters. by base characters I mean the ____ (random location) surfer. and the rest are just outfits)

like we already know that there's 11 fan made characters currently (shoutout to mr_ollie!) so that's out of the question

how it feels when the new seasonal update has dropped and you've went out of your way to get all 9 crew bonus characters/hoverboards in a single week (or 6 free ones) so you can enjoy the sweet added 16x multiplier (or 10x added if going free) to your permanent multiplier for the whole season:

opinion time! voice your opinions on this discussion about the power-ups we have in Subway Surfers!

which power-up(s) should be REMOVED from Subway Surfers?

and which power-up(s) should be ADDED to Subway Surfers? (it could be anything)

Random events ideas

before I start, I want to say that I've done this shit before and has now came up with a few more event ideas (its been a month since I last done this)
note the old events that I've discussed before appears down the post

EVENT: Poisonous Leaps

In Poisonous Leaps, the surfer has to navigate through a poisonous jungle (if you know, you know), where the ground gradually becomes more and more covered in a purple colored poison. this event appears 1 week into the Seasonal event and stays there until the seasonal event is over (this event does not have stages), refreshing every 48 hours

jumping on the purple poison will cause you to end a run. using a hoverboard won't save you at all, as you can't surf on the poison

how this works:
this event works like One run Challenge, except that the goal is to gather 7,500,000 points in a single run. this event brings forth a a new mechanic: zip lines

Zip lines are a mechanic used for navigating through parts of the map as the ground slowly loses for train karts to land/run on. the further you progress the less ground there is and more reliance on using the zip lines

how to use the Zip line feature:
when you see that the amount of train karts are becoming less and less, a zip line will appear. the length of the zip line will be randomized (short line or long lines). sometimes they appear on 3 lanes, other times on 1 singular lane

upon seeing a zip line, jump upward for your character to grab onto to. if for any reason that you decide to swipe downwards when the ground isn't safe at the moment, then your character will let go and succumb to the poison, thus ending the run.

while on the zip line, obstacles are going to appear on the zip lines. these obstacles are nothing more than those barrier obstacles but here's a twist: the barriers appear above you and below you

when the barriers are below you, make your surfer jump up to dodge it. upon doing so, your character will do a unique animation of doing a front flip, before grabbing onto the zip line again and this time walking (well running) on the line

when the barriers are above you and you're on top of the zip lines, swipe downward to make your surfer go down, while still latching onto the zip line.

RWARDS: coins, event coins, keys (6 keys), hoverboards

bonus: this event, like the mystery hurdles event, comes with a daily leaderboard. if you get in the top 1%, then you get the bonus rewards of 6 more keys, seasonal event tokens, coins, and some boosters
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
EVENT: One Lane Only
I saw this special event from a video coming from the official subway surfers Youtube Account (the video was a few years old) and thought that this should be a permanent event. this event refreshes every 24 hours
in One Lane Only, the surfer has to navigate through the subway but there's a twist: there's only one lane! so that means your only action command you can do is either swipe up or swipe down
the run starts out as the usual slow speed, but gradually becomes faster and harder to evade the incoming obstacles.
only two power-ups are here to help you: super sneakers and 2x multiplier. hoverboards and hoverboards with super jump attribute are allowed here.
your goal is to score 3,500,000 points in a single run without ruining the run
REWARDS: coins event coins, boosters, hoverboards, and keys (appears on a rotational basis)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

EVENT: Tricky Caverns
in Tricky Caverns, the surfer will start inside a cave/mine instead of being aboveground. during the run, you, the player will navigate through the dark cave that are only lit by a few lanterns scattered about. your goal is to score an x amount of points and also to look out for some valuables (these valuables will be explained later).

this event appears for every single seasonal event and is broken down to being 5 stages with each stage after the 1st one increasing incrementally by 2x the previous score requirements. this event appears within the 3rd of a new seasonal event and stay here until the end of the event

here's what I mean:
+ stage 1 requires 1,600,000 score
+ stage 2 requires 3,200,000 score
+ stage 3 requires 6,400,000 score
+ stage 4 requires 12,800,000 score
+ stage 5 requires 25,600,000 score
~~~~~
* Obstacles: most of the obstacles are going to be the same here. here's a few examples:
+ trash bins are replaced with mine carts
+ small bushes are replaced with a pile of rocks
+ big bushes are replaced with a geode that shows some prominent crystals
there are gonna be time where you'd have to jump onto a zip line (mentioned above this post) to get across big chasms in order to progress through the run and not fail. super sneaker or overboard with the super jump attribute will not help you get across the chasm
~~~~~
regular rewards: coins, event coins, keys (about 6 keys in each stage completed), hoverboards, and the usual boosters. final reward from stage six will be the Spelunker

instead of the usual seasonal hunt tokens spawning in every now and then, this specific event will only spawn in gemstone tokens. there are 4 kinds of gemstone tokens: Diamond, Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald

each gemstone will have a milestone, giving you rewards based on how many gemstones of that specific gemstone you've collected

here's an example:
collecting 50 diamonds = 500 events coins
collecting 100 diamond = 1 mystery box
collecting 250 diamonds = 1 super mystery box
collecting 500 diamond = 10 keys

new badge!: Geologist's Haven
in order to get this badge, you must collect 500 gemstones of diamonds, rubies, sapphires, and emeralds. doing so will reward you 20 keys and a badge displaying Jake discovering a geode
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
EVENT: D̸̨̐̄̊̇ë̶̢̠̪́͗͠l̵̨̛͙̙͙̆v̵̧̮͠e̷̻̋̕͝͠ ̵̬͇̅Ì̵̙̟̒̓̍ṉ̷̥̺̜̈t̷̮̬̍͋͒͝ò̶̭͌͠ͅ ̶̤̻͉̤̈́̆̾T̷͈̤̱̗͗͝h̴͇̃͛ͅe̸͇̱̼͂̾ ̶̤̬̥̯͗̌͠S̸̖͊͊u̴̧̠̝̗͂̓r̸̥͐̄̅͜f̴̲̓̀̄̇r̵̤̊͘ǫ̶̜̎o̸̞͚̘̍͊̄͠m̵̳̌͌̽͝s̴̝(this one is inspired by a YT shorts of Jake falling through the ground and entering the backrooms)
In Delve Into The Surfrooms, you start running but something feels off. when you look at the top right of your screen, you'll notice that your score isn't going up at all. shortly after, the ground begins to glitch out into a spasm. there's no escaping the glitched ground as it takes over the map and then, you fall through the map entirely and end up in a place called The Surfrooms.
the surf rooms are very similar to the backrooms. in the surf rooms, you'll find obstacles that belonged to the subway from the outside world, scattered about here, some of them are glitching. beware of walls that are in this place as they blend in quite easily.
ENTITIES : the only entities that constantly chase you are:
¿Guard? --- represented by a skin-stealer and makes distorted sounds of the real guard. for example, Ḧ̴̛̛̫͚̣̳̲̝͔̩͕̎̏̆́͂͐̌̏̈́̉̈̀̃̚͝͝ͅE̵͚̫̱̻̣̓̑͒͊͌͒̐̔͐̑̓̋̿͗͆̍̐̚Y̸̢̨̨̗̟̖̦͔̬̝̭̝̹͙͍̪̖̘̾͗̓̂̔̌͆̿͐͐͊̍̚͝!̸̡̧̮̖͔̯̼͍̜͙͖̹̻̗͉̜͙̭͕̃͜!̵̢̡̗͚̖̬̰̪̙̫̗͈͗̽͛͋̂̐̋̈́̿̉͊̑͐͑͑̎̚̕͝
+¿the dog? --- represented by an aggressive hound that barks in a way deeper tone
these 2 entities moves considerable faster than usual, thus being able to catch up to you if you aren't careful with navigating through this place
You must score 4,500,000 points in order to beat this event. refreshes every 72 hrs
REWARDS: coins, event coins, tokens, hoverboards, and keys
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

EVENT: Jump Mania
in Jump Mania, the surfer has to perform a multitude of jumps across incoming train karts in order to traverse through the event. why? because the ground does not exist. the train karts are able to float in the air, kind of like dystopian type shit you be seeing in those sci-fi moves.

the incoming train carts gradually becomes less numerous, thus causing you to perform some good-timed jumps, otherwise you'll fail the event and have to try all over again. Hoverboards are permitted and super sneakers can appear, although rare for it to happen.
you'll need to score 2.3 million points in order to complete this even. refreshes every 48hrs
REWARDS: coins, event coins, seasonal tokens, a few keys (doesn't happen that often)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
EVENT: No Power-ups
in No Power-ups, the event works pretty similar to how marathon or just simply starting a run works, except that power-ups are disabled. that means No magnets, no jetpacks, no super sneakers, no 2x multiplier, no pogo sticksand lastly, no hoverboards
* Scoring: in order to complete this event, you must score 5.2 million points in a single run. Refreshes every 24 hrs
REWARDS: you get coins, event coins, hoverboards, and sometimes a few keys
BONUS: this event comes with its exclusive badge, Powerless but Persistent. this badge is based on testing your endurance (and patience on scoring)
there are 5 tiers for this badge, going from bronze ➡️ rainbow:
+ Bronze: score 1,000,000 points in a single run
+ Silver: score 2,500,000 points in a single run
+ Gold: score 5,000,000 points in a single run
+ Amethyst: score 7,500,000 points in a single run
+ Rainbow: Score 10,000,000 points in a single run
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

EVENT: Wintery Bonanza
In Wintery Bonanza, the surfer has to navigate through a mixture of a snowy and icy environment, evading oncoming train carts and other obstacles. But it comes with a twist: the ground is really slippery. Due to the ground being slippery, this will hinder your movement commands to the your surfer by about a ~1 second delay.

for example, swipe right to make your surfer move right and it'll take 1 second for your surfer to respond to that action command

* This event has 5 stages
+ Stage 1: score 800,000 points
+ Stage 2: score 2,500,000 points
+ Stage 3: score 5,000,000 points
+ Stage 4: score 8,750,000 points
+ Stage 5: Score 15,250,000 points

REWARDSevent coins, hoverboards, boosters, some keys, and the final reward being a rare character + a portrait of that rare character
*BONUS: this comes with its exclusive badge, Icy Hazards. this badge is awarded to you by staying on the ground for a set amount of meters in total from multiple runs.
+ Bronze ➡️ stay on the ground for 200,000 meters
+ Silver ➡️ stay on the ground for 700,000 meters
+ Gold ➡️ stay on the ground for 2,500,000 meters
+ Amethyst ➡️ stay on the ground for 6,000,000 meters
+ Rainbow ➡️ stay on the ground for 9,000,000 meters
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
EVENT: Hoverboard only
In Hoverboard Only, you can only traverse using a single hoverboard given to you from the start for the entire time.
in order to keep staying on the hover board, you must collect hoverboard batteries (similar to showdown mode) that appear throughout the course. near the beginning, the amount of board charges are plentiful, but gradually becoming pretty sparse. Super sneakers and the magnet power-ups can also help you in gathering batteries
you need to score 4.5 million for it to be deemed completed. this event only appears a few times throughout a season
NOTE: if your hoverboard either runs out or that it explodes from hitting an obstacle, then its game over
BONUS: this event comes with its exclusive badge, Surfs up!, going from bronze tier --> rainbow tier
* bronze tier: ride 1,000 meters
* silver tier: ride 5,000 meters
* Gold tier: ride 15,000 meters
* Amethyst tier: ride 50,000 meters
* Rainbow tier: ride 500,000 meters
NOTE: the amount of meters gets totaled up over time from multiple runs, so there's no need to worry about needing to get them in one sitting
REWARDS: coins, event coins, boosters, hoverboards, keys (small amount)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

EVENTNo Floor Challenge intense mode
at some point during a season we all get the regular No Floor Challenge completed with a lot of days to spare right? well I'm introducing No Floor Challenge Intense mode
This mode acts like the regular version, except that there are a few twists:

* there are 5 stages of this well-crafted torture event
+stage 1 requires 1.2 million
+ stage 2 requires 3 million
+ stage 3 requires 8 million
+ stage 4 requires 16 million
+ stage 5 requires 32 million.

DIFFICULTY: the difficulty(those volcano images on the top left corner of your screen) goes further beyond, increasing to level 6, showing a super volcano exploding

New danger: Volcanic falling rock. these work similar to the lava indicators that disintegrate any cart that its on except that this one does NOT give any sort of warning. this appears on level 4 on the difficult chart til level 6.

Lava: Touching the lava only once is an automatic game over, as there's no bounce to it, unlike the regular version.

Traversing through this event is going to be hell and torture but still doable. this refreshes from 24 hrs at the beginning, to 1 day, 24 hrs.

* REWARDScoins, event coins, hoverboards, boosters, keys (45 keys, cuz of the torture you'll have to deal with), and a frame [The hellfire frame]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
EVENT: Marathon hard mode
Marathon hard mode functions like the regular version of Marathon, except that there are a few key difference that separates it from the regular:
+ you need to gather about 6.5 million score and it refreshes every 48 hrs
+ The pacing of the game at the start is already at the max speed of a prolonged long, only getting even more faster the longer you run in this mode, eventually capping a determined speed.
+ You get NO REVIVES (can't use keys nor can you watch an ad for a revive). this means that if you mess up during the run, you have to try again from the start
+ this one also ties in to the no revives point but this is that if you just so happen to hit ANY obstacle, be it bumping against a barrier or bumping against a moving train, or heck, even going through a bushy plant or a garbage dumpster, you get caught instantly by the guard.
+ the guard is always and I mean ALWAYS on your ass. there's no run for a bit and he disappears off the screen. no, he's on yer ass the entire run.
+ Train carts move incredibly fast, requiring superb action time.
+ you cannot use no hoverboard at all (it gets disabled) AND no there no power ups to assist you.
REWARDScoins, event coins, hoverboards, some boosters, and ~3-9 keys, depending on rotational basis
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

EVENT: Bringing back Inverted controls mode to the main event roster for good
this one isn't really an idea as this mode was made by SYBO games itself for a reward of the Guard board.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
EVENT: Coin Rush
Coin rush mode is catered towards collecting coins (obviously) but also helps the grind of gathering event coins as well. gather a score of 2.5 million for it to be completed and refreshes every 24 hrs
How it works:
+ you need to gather a total of at least 20,000 coins, while there's a time limit (you can extend the time by at least +20 seconds by collecting hourglass pieces)
+ Magnet powers ups are scattered throughout the duration of the event
+ coins spawn rate gradually becomes sparse the longer you're in the run.
* REWARDScoins, boards, event coins, occasionally some keys, like about 6 keys
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

EVENT: One Run Challenge but Intense
This mode works just like regular one run challenge, except that the required amount of score needed is bumped to 20 million, and you need to do it in a single run.

* RWARDScoins, event coins, hoverboards, keys (about 9 keys max), and most importantly, either a rare skin or a frame

reworks to be made in Subway Surfers

note: some of these are coming from a few of my older posts, all compiled into one big 'ol post 🙃

rework: fixing the issue with the mystery hurdles event
if you don't know what im talking about, I talking about the fact that jumping over that tall barrier using a hoverboard that has the super jump attribute doesn't count as the barrier being evaded and therefore not counting.
well, I would change it so that it can still count as it being evaded and giving you points for it
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
rework: keys are easier to obtain and save up for
everybody knows that keys are the best commodity in the game, right? use 'em for gathering character and hoverboards, skip cooldowns and so forth
well there's gonna be a rework for all that!
here's the new ways to get keys:
under the shop tab, scroll down until you see the mystery box section. upon getting there there would be a free 5 keys for you to claim. after claiming those 5 keys it would then be on cooldown until the game updates (depends on time zones)
every single event (from the events tab) would reward you keys as a final reward, instead of it being some random bs
the percent chance of obtaining some keys from the mini, mystery, and super mystery boxes has slightly increased
you'll be rewarded an x amount of keys depending on your rank in Top Run after the 7 days are over
+ you get 15 keys if you end up in champion
+ you get 10 keys if you end up in diamond
+ you get 8 keys if you end up in gold
+ you get 5 keys if you end up in silver
+ you get 2 keys if you end up in bronze
+ if for some reason you didn't get ranked at all during the entire 7 days, then you get no keys
now since I've added in these new changes. the only drawback is that buying characters and hoverboards are going to be a bit more expensive.
for example, hoverboards that you can buy via keys are gonna jump up from 40 keys ➡️ 50 keys. as for characters, the cost is gonna jump from 75 keys ➡️ 90 keys
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
rework: the daily spin here's how this would work:
* the daily spin would have more spaces than what we currently have
+ instead of one space being 10 keys, there would be 2 key spaces (the 10 keys space stay the same BUT a 3 key space would be added, between the 10 hoverboards space and the mini mystery space).
+ the 3 key space would have a higher chance of landing on it as opposed to the 10 key space
+ as for the 2nd surfer space, it would be between the 1 mystery box space and the 2 hoverboards space (this shares the same percent chance as the other surfer space)
+ the 3rd new space would be the super mystery box, located between the 10 keys space and the 3 head starts space. the percent chance of landing on the super mystery box would be slightly lower than the mystery box (~19.2%)

* you now have the option to spin the wheel at the expense of using your coins. each spin would cost you a x amount of coins to spin the wheel each time. here's the breakdown:
for every 1,000 coins you get 1 spin
and there would be a button that if you spend 10,000 coins, then you would get 10 spins. you can do this 10 times before it goes on cooldown. (basically, you can spend a total of 100,000 coins for 100 spins)
when the coin option is on cooldown, you cannot watch an ad to refresh that option, as you'd have to wait until the game updates (depends on time zones, for example 8:00 pm my time)

this would make the daily spin board to have a grand total of 13 different spaces

now for the fun part!

* you can now have the option to spend event coins to increase the odds of landing on the key space and/or the character space in your favor AND gives you the boost of spinning 2 wheels at once!
this power-up/boost can be located in the shop tab, underneath the 2x token boost.
costs: 20,000 Event coins
duration: 24hrs
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
rework: fixing the UI change
since everyone by now should have that UI change happen to the main screen, changing it back to how it once was should happen. cuz from that post discussing about opinions on the new UI change had people raw dogging the hell out of the change 😭
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
rework: day/night time cycle
the rework is focused on giving you the options in the settings whether you want to have the sky be constantly day time or nighttime. OR you can set it as a gradual time-lapse of the day and night sky the longer you're into the run
cuz when you look at it, we had the Sakura, Tokyo update, which took place in a nighttime sky. and the super runner city Copenhagen 14th birthday update has the sky being nighttime
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
rework: a claim all button
the claim all button would be used to gather up all the rewards that you've obtained from stuff like the season hunt (more specifically the bonus rewards part).
what this would do is that it would gather up all the bonus rewards that you are able to get (in accordance with the bonus level from gathering an x amount of tokens)
here's how it would work:
it would gather up all those 2,000 coin bags and gives you a grand total of that said reward
as for the keys, you get a few keys from the early bonus rewards stages
as for the mystery boxes, it would tell you how much you have and then you can start opening the mystery boxes
as for the event rewards (from the events tab), it works just like the claim all button for the seasonal hunt, but with a different approach
you get to claim all the rewards, BUT it leaves out the rewards that can be given to you via watching an ad and those rewards button that gives you the option to either claim it as it is or watch an ad to double down on it
what SYBO Games could've done for 4th of July for all of us surfers
What SYBO could've done for us on 4th of July in regard to Taly's patriot outfit and that fireworks hoverboard, was to either do these 2 options
OPTION 1: make the character outfit & the firework hoverboard become available to us via spending coins or spending keys. of heck, maybe even having us watch ~10 ads to unlock both
OR
OPTION 2: make a special event tied toward the character and hoverboard
this would be similar to how the Burger King event happened that resulted in people getting the burger king character (by completing 3 stages)
stages 1 to 3 would be about gathering points to unlock the fireworks hoverboard. after completing stage 3, whereas stage 4 to 6 would be available and completing that would result in the character being unlocked
correct animated series episode order 😭
on one of my previous posts (more specifically, the fun fact post) mentions a fair bit of facts about the animated series.
one of things I forgot to add was that the episodes are actually NOT in chronological order
the correct order is this:
episode 3 ➡️ episode 6 ➡️episode 5 ➡️ episode 1 ➡️episode 9 ➡️ episode 4 ➡️ episode 8 ➡️ episode 7 ➡️ episode 10 ➡️ episode 11 ➡️ and lastly, episode 2
Facts about Subway Surfers
  1. the real names for Jake, Tricky, Fresh, King, and Yutani are the following:
    Jake (Jacob Bressler)
    Tricky (Beatrice Fairchild)
    Fresh (Jeffrey Harper)
    Yutani (Yutani Rodman)
    King (Maurice Kingo Erikson)
  2. in episode 6, titled "Invention", during one of her sessions with inventing, Yutani has an incoming message from Jake. what's funny is that the name is titled Mr. Cutie on Yutani's end. so that means that Yutani has a crush on Jake
  3. Ella (Ella Harper) and Fresh are siblings in the animated series, and so as in both games
  4. the animated series was actually more based on Subway Surfers city (yeah the animated series is way older than the game but it seems to have predicted it 🙃*)*
  5. the super sneakers power up has a bug where when jumping, it doesn't make the full sound
  6. the dog that chases our asses down the subway is a white bull terrier
  7. Subway Surfers game was the first ever mobile game to reach 1 billion downloads on the google play store, achieved on March 2018
  8. Subway Surfers was actually an inspired game. it got its inspiration from a mobile game called Temple Run. so seeing how successful Subway Surfers was, that means the inspiration is more successful than the original
my own lore/theories behind Subway Surfers 🙃
Lore: they are stuck in a separate universe, called the surferverse that they can’t escape from and are stuck to endlessly running from an anomalous figure
Note: this is my first try at attempting to make some lore for this game & some theories
The core crew characters were once real humans that fell in a paradox in time and ended up in a universe called the surferverse. The unfortunate people who ends up in the surferverse gets stripped away from who they once were, not being able to remember their real names and instead are given these nicknames by default
The core crew characters are chasing for something that is never going to take fruit. They are trying to find the end. The end for all of the agonizing pain of having to constantly run on their legs for an endless amount of time is never there. It's like a treadmill; you can keep going but you’ll never truly reach the each of it. A perpetual loop in the style of a subway track
The guard is not a human. The guard is an anomalous “human” that has the capabilities that far surpasses the human abilities. He is able to teleport behind the surfer if he/she is flagging behind via tripping on an obstacle. He is even able to catch up when a surfer uses a super speed hoverboard or using a jetpack
The guard may also represent the surfers mentality as to trying to find a way to escape this place
The train karts are controlled by a strange force/aura that makes them move, even without a conductor on board.
Hoverboards are fragments that mirrors the futuristic society of the real world that somehow fell through the paradox and landed into the subwayverse. In the real world currently, there is something called magnetic levitation
Frank could be the true antagonist in the surferverse. Here's why:
In the animated series, he is seen as a very mysterious person who from the looks of it, secretly has a vendetta against Jake, indicating that there could’ve possibly been some past beef between the two that we're not aware of
Also, during the Sakura, Tokyo update, we can see that Frank’s face can be seen a various times throughout the map through the glitched screens above the mini tunnels
During the trailer on Youtube for Subway Surfers City, he can be seen standing completely still on a moving train kart, doing nothing but staring menacingly at Jake, causing Jake to gasp
During a Subway Surfers City run, you can see Frank trying to foil Jake and the other’s attempt at running around from the persistent guard
Random ideas/concepts for Subway Surfers content
it has taken upon me me that thy noggin my mine and thus forth activated neuron activation mode and has came up with these new concepts for Subway Surfers
lets surf this one out!
CONCEPT 1: new obstacle feature + fall damage
behold! the brand new feature that can only be seen by doing a simple run. the one and only underground subway
what this feature does is that every now and then, you'd come across these set of stairs that cover the 3 lanes. you cannot avoid the stairs. don't worry about stumbling here as the stumble effect doesn't happen on the stairs.
upon going down the stairs, you'd be met with a single rail track and 2 stepping platforms. and yes the train karts also spawn down here as well.
the obstacles from above ground are also present for the underground subway (i.e, barriers being on the platforms and those mini tunnels.
new obstacle: trash cans. trash cans work the same as the regular obstacles but are still nevertheless an obstacle that you have to either jump over or change lanes.
new obstacle: super speed train cart.
super speed train carts work the same as regular train karts, except that they're extremely fast and they themselves don't give any warning. the only warning is the flashing red light, signaling that a super fast train kart is approaching. using a hoverboard to tank the crash has no effort at all, you'd still crash regardless
now after a while you would begin to see some stair leading back up to aboveground
now for the fall damage part....
fall damage is a feature where if your surfer falls from a high place (be it from a jetpack or by some other circumstance), your character does that classic stumble. to prevent this from happening, either activate a hoverboard when falling from a great height to break your fall or have the super sneakers active (provides cushioning)
CONCEPT 2: new mystery box tier
since we all know that there are 3 tiers of mystery boxes in the game and gives out valuable loot, right? well, I've came up with a new tier of mystery box that far more superior that the super mystery box. this new mystery box is called the mega mystery box
the visuals:
the the color scheme for this new mystery box is that the outer edges are a monochrome/metallic white-ish gray color with the the rest of the box is in a dark teal-ish blue color (for example #004c6a)
the face of each side is going to be marked with pieces of triangles embedding the corners of each face with the question mark kind of being "lifted up" to show depth
Rarity to get the mystery box:
the rarity to get the mega mystery box is going to be pretty rare as obtaining this box is way less that finding a super mystery box
mega mystery box rewards:
+ coins: 10,000 coins to 25,000 coins
+ coins: 50,000 coins to 500,000 coins (jackpot)
bonus: when its on a Tuesday the jackpot goes from 500,000 to a whopping 5,000,000 coins!
(but remember the rarity to even get your hand on this box is pretty difficult)
+ Keys: ranging from 3 keys to 6 keys (can all be doubled down with 2x bonus via watching an ad)
+ Keys^: ranging from 8 keys to 12 keys (can also be doubled down with 2x via watching 2 ads)
+ hoverboards: ranging from 10 hoverboards all the way to 100 hoverboards at once (can be doubled down with 2x bonus)
+ head starts: ranging from 3 to 6 (can be doubled down with 2x bonus)
+ score multipliers: ranging from 3 to 6 (can be doubled down with 2x bonus)
a random character that you don't have in your character roster (note: this is thy most rarest loot you could get from this mystery box), only happening 1 in 12k boxes
ways of obtaining this mystery box:
+ watching those ads that appear of the top right corner of the screen (doesn't appear that often; rare)
+ the daily spin: chances of landing a mega mystery box space is 0.12%
+doing the daily word challenge (y'know, collecting those green letters to fill out a single word)
note: this would only appear on day 10 and day 20. after that, it only appear every 15 days after that
+ getting 1st place in Top Run. this mean that not only getting a champion medal and some poor mans coins, you'd instead get the medal and coin AND the sacred box
CONCEPT 3: New Badge tier
warning this part of the prompt is going to be a bit brutal of the requirements for some of these badges 😭
so in regards to making a post previously that mentioned the obsidian tier badges, I've only scratched the surface of those example. so why not do it to most of the badges in the game?
here we go!
Obsidian badges tier:
+ World tour: you'd need ru in 100 World Tour destinations
+ The More The Merrier: own 400 characters
+ Board rider: own 500 hoverboards
+ Demystified: dodge 450 mystery hurdles
+ Helping Hand: collect 500,000 coins from your buddies
+ Letter Chaser: complete Word Hunt for 150 days in a row
+ Lucky Duck: Win the jackpot 15 times
+ Mystery Maestro: open 20,000 mystery boxes
+ Coin Cautious: Score 5,500,000 points without collecting a single coin
+ No Acrobatics: Score 10,000,000 points in one run without jumping nor rolling
+ Straight Ahead: Score 15,000,000 points without changing lanes
+ Social Rider (yes, wrong word for this badge): Make 150 buddies
+ Race Against The Clock: stay alive for 12 minutes in one run on Tag Team Attack
+ Massively Multiplied: reach a peak score multiplier of 170
(yes I didn't include the rest of the badges cuz I myself don't have the rainbow tier badges so I can't make an estimate for the next tier requirements 😭)
CONCEPT 4: adding a level 7 to the power-ups
upgrading the magnet, 2x multiplier, super sneakers, and the jetpack to level 7 does the following:
+ Magnet: upgrading the magnet to level 7 would make the magnet last for 45 seconds AND give it a perk that it can also bring in mystery boxes, keys, even tokens, word tokens, and even the orange letters
+ Jetpack: upgrading the jetpack to level 7 would increase the life-span of it to last for 40 seconds AND give it a perk that after the life span is done, it would give you some bonus coins and some bonus score
+ 2x multiplier: upgrading to level 7 would not increase its life-span seconds BUT it gives you a perk that when the 2x multiplier is active, any power-ups picked up would restore its only a partial amount of its life, thereby keeping it for long periods.
+ Super Sneakers: upgrading it to level 7 increases the duration to be 45 seconds AND giving you a perk that it can make your surfer jump even higher, high enough to jump over those tunnels (only the small tunnels, not those very big ones)
the cost to upgrade to level 7 for these power-ups is 500,000 coins each
