Calorie deficit

For everyone trying to undergo a calorie deficit (big or small) and doesn’t have an unhealthy relationship to food I’d advise you to go by weekly calories. Know your weekly maintenance or deficit you are trying to hit and just hit that number in the span of 7 days. That cuts off a lot of the stress hitting daily calories might bring and also allows you to eat more on certain days while cutting back a bit on days where you’re more sedentary
