G7 or M7+S7 first?

I’m currently 105M might with G6/M6/S6/E6.

Does it make the most sense for me to work towards G7 first, or instead go for M7+S7?

The way I see it, the trade off is that with the exception of DO, going for M7+S7 will make event goals easier to attain, but the corresponding rewards will be the lower G6 calibrated ones.

Green Omni Gear Question

Right now my level 121 Carter has orange Tomb Raider gear. I want to upgrade to Omni gear, but all I can afford is green Omni gear.

Both orange tomb raider gear and green Omni gear provide a base +26% crypt efficiency. On the other hand, green Omni gear also provides +26% efficiency for epic crypts. Both have additional, though smaller, bonuses: to tar production and capacity for orange tomb raider and to crypt march speed and range for green Omni.

Is the green Omni enough of an upgrade that I should pursue it, or should I wait until I can afford Omni gear in a higher color?

What next after G6?

I just unlocked G6, and unlocked M6 about a week ago. (I have also unlocked E5 and S4.)

I’m not certain that working towards G7 right away makes the most sense.

As I see it, some alternatives to immediately starting to work towards G7 are:

  1. Start doing PvP, which I have hitherto largely ignored, with the aim of unlocking S5 and S6.

  2. Currently I have a six star, level 111 Carter and, with his gear and the relevant premium mode turned on, can clear a level 25 crypt in one shot. It’s super expensive though: 45k common tar. I clear ten level 15 and 20 crypts every day to satisfy my clan’s quota. So I thought it would be nice to work in my archaeology research tree, unlock level 30 crypts, get Carter a seventh star and try to get as efficient as possible with my tar usage.

  3. I could work on the research trees I’ve almost entirely ignored up to now, like Blacksmithing, Economy and Logistics.

  4. Or I could just start to work towards M7 and then G7, which seems the most common thing to do.

My account is only two months old, so by being very active and doing a little spending I’ve had a rather fast growth trajectory. (I teleported to an open kingdom for what it’s worth.) I know that I won’t be able to keep up this pace forever, and given how expensive the G6 to G7 transition is, now seems like an ideal time to reassess my future plans.

Do Triumphal Challenge Mercs upgrade as your Guardsmen level upgrades?

I am a G5 and unlocked a bunch of level VII mercenaries in the Triumphal Challenge rewards area today. I have not clicked on them to redeem them however, as tomorrow during Ragnarok I will be upgrading to G6. If I wait until then to redeem my mercenaries, will they still be the level VII they appear as now, or will they upgrade to the newer green mercs that I’ll be entitled to?

Looking for a collaborative clan in a nice kingdom

I'm a new player (just under a month) in a closed kingdom. My kingdom is very dysfunctional (more on this below), so I would like to teleport to a different kingdom where I can join a collaborative clan of active players focused on growth.

  • About Me: I have a level 29  capital, G5, M5, S4, and Catapult 5. My might is just under 20M. My hero is a level 63 Haemon, and the combat captains I use most are a Hercules (level 153), Cleopatra (level 89, 2 stars), Aydae (level 101, 3 stars) and Leonidas (level 80, 2 stars).

  • My Kingdom (316): In my kingdom, there are basically only two powerful clans. By all of the ranking metrics these two clans (I am in one of them) are roughly equal, and all others are far weaker. One of the clans is dominated by a (for us) super large player that seems to have spent her way to 190M might . (I know that this isn’t so large in the greater scheme of things, but for our young kingdom this is huge.) That clan has become something of a cult of personality and its members attack other players indiscriminately, regardless of how small they are. They always attack forts and clan capitals when they are able to. Many of their members have purchased Faron heroes, which they use to ensure their leader is named King, at which point members of my clan are named things like Punching Bag to attempt to weaken us. Our kingdom chat has become toxic and quite a few players have recently been banned. All in all this toxicity has taken a lot of the fun out of the game. For a while their clan was attacking any portals that other players put up near epic monsters.

Is this normal for a young, closed kingdoms?

I have been playing for about a month now, in a kingdom that is about six weeks old. In my kingdom, there are basically only two powerful clans.

Is what I am describing normal for closed kingdoms? Is it likely to change once we open?

EDIT: It’s Kingdom 316. Feel free to pay a visit to the OUT clan when we open.

How often do you attack epic monsters?

The title really says it all. I’ve been playing for about three weeks now in a newish still-closed kingdom (#316). I’ve been attacking epics every day (most recently as part of the Lotus Festival), but find that it’s super draining on my resources. In particular the need to constantly retrain my army means that I’m always short on speed-ups, even though I get quite a lot from my clan. (I get enough silver from chests that this isn’t a problem.)

So I was curious about how often those of you who don’t spend tons of $ on the game go after epics. Every day? Or just part of certain recurring tournaments like Ragnorok?
