(Advice) - 21yo Should I stick to linework if most every day I went to work I asked myself "wth am I doing here I can better then this"? Been in it for only 7 months

Ive already gotten my CDL class A, and linemen cert + construction, CPR, First Aid, NCCER, osha 10 cert

I have had a few people there already tell me that If I didn't like it then I will will not like it later and that I'm more intellectual then physical labor. In my mind I enjoy the idea of it and the way it makes me feel but I do not enjoy the actual work i prefer more of a challenge like complicated problem solving and advanced math. I reside in texas and the money is far less then other states. And i know the chances of landing a job at a utility is slim to non became they only have a few opening across the state right non there are only 10 and 7 of those of engineering roles.

What do you guys think who have been in it for decades and know what it intel for newly grad linemen and if i should continue or not. Perhaps it was the company I was at but I am unsure we specialize in underground utilites
