Balenciaga Unity Scarf Zip-Up Hoodie QC

CNY ¥598 ≈ $ 96.16

Bought it from seller named "汉堡Made" (found him on some other Subreddit, no clue if he is good or not, I just liked this hoodie and I had hope it will be good quality)

I would recommend to wait before buying, because I will do a review once I have it in hand, since $96 USD is a lot of money to spend on something I'm unsure about.

Also the QC Pictures I've received aren't the greatest, but I have already shipped it out so I can't do anything more.

[QC] Balenciaga Fashion Designer Zip-Up Hoodie in Black

Price: CNY ¥289 ≈ $ 46.45

It's the first time I have bought from this seller, he doesn't have many sales, so I can't confirm quality before I receive it in hand, but it looks good from the pics tho.

$14 USD Ralph Lauren Chief Keef Polo (3 Colors)

W2C: Top of Spreadsheet - CNY ¥88 ≈ $ 14.14

Blue - Los Angeles Ralph Lauren Polo
Black - Chief Keef Chicago Ralph Lauren Polo
White - Miami Ralph Lauren Polo

These are insane for the price, look good and have nice vibe to them.
Of course it's one of most popular rep products, but it has some flaws like stitching etc, but for the price I can't really complain.

Do you have same piece? Let me know what you think about it!

[In-Hand] Dior B22 from Acmeco/ZZZTop

I just wanted to post shoes I had in hand for a long time

The seller Acmeco (Previously ZZZTop) will add these for sale in about 1 week, because his previous store was closed.

But keep in mind, if you get error "This product may not exist", remember to check the link again in couple days. I will update it as soon as he posts the shoes on his new store!

If you are interested in them, feel free to leave a comment, and I will reply to people when it's up again!

[QC] Lightning McQueen Crocs - 110 Yuan

Crocs (25 Models including Lightning McQueen) on top of my Spreadsheet.

What's good y'all! Today I'm reviewing these fast crocs I got in hand couple days ago.
I've been stressing bout putting these in sport mode, so if there will be enough interest I will do slow vs sport mode comparison test on video.

So this was one of the most popular products on my spreadsheet, so I decided to cop it to show in-hand pictures, and these are wild.
When I be walking in them crocs, I be couple steps behind.
The seller also has Bape crocs, and some other OG crocs colorways without any collab.

So as always, here are the links:

[In-Hand] Derschutze "Gallery" Duffle Bag from PengReps! | Kakobuy

What's good! I bought this Derschutze Gallery Duffle Bag from PengReps for $128 USD

In my opinion, it's kinda expensive considering it's not my style at all, but I thought y'all might like it.

I find this piece really interesting, it has stitched gallery art on both sides, the stitching is really well done, has a lot of small details and matches the Derschutze vibe.

Just wanted to share some in-hand pics in case someone would be interested, even tho I feel like this piece is very niche

W2C: https://reprevs.com/?rr_product=4009
It will be on the top of my spreadsheet "Derschutze Bag"

(Not sponsored, paid with my own money)

Agent vs Seller vs Factory: How Buying Reps From China Actually Works

I see a lot of beginners blaming the agent when an item looks bad.

I also thought agents sold the products when I first started in 2017, but agents mostly buy and ship items for you. They do not make the shoes, clothes, or accessories.

Here is how the process works.

Factory

The factory makes the product.

Factories often make different versions of the same item. People usually call them batches.

One batch might have better materials, shape, stitching, colors, or sizing than another batch. This is why two versions of the same shoe or hoodie might look completely different and also feel completely different.

The factory and batch usually matter more than the agent you use.

An agent will not turn a bad batch into a good one.

Seller

The seller lists the product and sends it to the warehouse.

You usually find sellers through:

  • Taobao
  • Weidian
  • 1688
  • Yupoo
  • Reddit
  • Rep spreadsheets

Some sellers work closely with one factory. Others buy from several factories and resell the products.

A popular seller does not always own a factory. A lot of them are middlemen.

You might also find two sellers selling the same batch at different prices. Paying more does not always mean you get a better product.

Before ordering, I normally check:

  • Recent QC photos
  • Buyer reviews
  • Batch name
  • Measurements
  • Return policy
  • Prices from other sellers

Recent buyer photos matter more to me than seller photos. Seller photos usually show the best possible item under good lighting (But some agent photos might have bad lighting too, so it depends).

Marketplace

Taobao, Weidian, and 1688 are marketplaces where sellers upload their listings.

You copy the product link and paste it into your agent's website.

The marketplace does not buy or ship the item for you.

Yupoo is a little different. Most sellers use it as a photo album or catalog. The page might include a Weidian link, Taobao link, WhatsApp number, or another way to order.

Yupoo itself is not an agent.

Agent

The agent is the buying, warehouse, and shipping service.

You paste a product link into the agent's website. The agent orders the item from the seller. The seller then sends the item to the agent's warehouse.

After the item arrives, the agent usually:

  • Takes QC photos
  • Stores the item
  • Weighs it
  • Helps with returns or exchanges
  • Packs your items together
  • Ships the parcel to your country

The agent does not control how the item was made.

When you order the exact same seller link through two different agents, the product should be the same. The agent mainly changes your warehouse and shipping experience.

The main differences between agents are:

  • Shipping prices
  • Warehouse speed
  • QC photo quality
  • Customer support
  • Payment methods
  • Shipping lines
  • Product restrictions

I've bought from agents where the same product took 2 days to warehouse, and with other agent 7 days, so yeah there are smaller agents that are much slower, same with shipping time after you pay for international shipping.

What are QC photos?

QC means quality control.

The agent takes photos after your item arrives at the warehouse. You check them before paying for international shipping.

I usually check:

  • Logos
  • Stitching
  • Print placement
  • Shape
  • Colors
  • Size tag
  • Measurements
  • Damage
  • Stains
  • Wrong items

GL means you accept the item.

RL means you want to return or exchange it.

QC photos are useful, but they do not tell you everything. A hoodie might look great in photos and still feel cheap in hand. Photos also do not fully show comfort, durability, thickness, or sizing.

Simple example

You find a hoodie on Weidian.

  1. A factory makes the hoodie.
  2. A seller lists it on Weidian.
  3. You copy the link.
  4. You paste the link into your agent.
  5. The agent buys it.
  6. The seller sends it to the warehouse.
  7. The agent takes QC photos.
  8. You approve or return the item.
  9. The agent packs and ships your parcel.

That is basically the full process.

Common beginner mistakes

  • Thinking the agent makes or sells the product
  • Thinking every seller owns a factory
  • Paying more without comparing batches
  • Trusting seller photos only
  • Ignoring recent QC posts
  • Choosing a size without checking measurements
  • Thinking Yupoo is a shopping agent
  • Shipping an item before checking the QC photos

In my opinion, the biggest mistake is focusing too much on the agent and not enough on the seller, batch, and recent QC photos.

A good agent makes ordering easier, but the agent does not fix a bad product.

Where I find products

I normally find products through Reddit, seller lists, Yupoo pages, and spreadsheets.

I kept finding dead links, messy lists, and sellers with no clear categories, so I made RepRevs.com.

It is a searchable rep spreadsheet and seller directory with product links, categories, and trusted seller pages.

RepRevs does not sell or manufacture anything. It only helps you find products and sellers before you order through an agent.

The easiest way to remember it

  • Factory makes the product
  • Seller sells the product
  • Marketplace hosts the listing
  • Agent buys, stores, photographs, and ships it
  • Spreadsheet helps you find the link

What confused you the most when you placed your first order?
