How I’d Approach the LNAT as an Oxford Law Student
Speaking from my own experience studying law at Oxford, the main thing is not to treat the LNAT like a knowledge test. There isn’t really a universal pass mark, it’s testing how carefully you read, reason and argue.
For Section A, focus on why the wrong answers are wrong, not just why the correct one is right. A lot of mistakes come from picking an answer that sounds sensible but isn’t actually supported by the passage.
For Section B, keep it simple: take a clear position, develop 2-3 strong points, address a counterargument, and stay focused on the exact question.
Timed practice matters, but reviewing your mistakes properly is much more useful than just doing endless mocks.
