Dad died yesterday 15/8/26

Dad was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer back in March. It was on lymph nodes, liver, stomach and wrapped round major arteries. He had the option of chemo to slow things down but in his stride he declined this and rather live his last months doing what he loves.

It was horrible watching him deteriorate over time and especially since I worked in the hospital he got diagnosed (it’s a small hospital and we all know of each other).

He died in hospital surrounded by all his close family and was really peaceful. Couldn’t ask for anything better.

I just don’t know where to go from here as I already lost my mum 7 years a go.
