So im looking to go to germany in the next couple of months but i got some questions about what are the differences between the volunteering and the work exchange.

I main doubt is the work exchange part, like people get paid? Do i need a working visa for that? Or is it pretty much the same

And also if there is any tips in general for things to keep in mind they are very much apreciated
