Final Draft of First Semester BPK

Final Draft of First Semester BPK

Hi everyone,

I am wrapping up my first-semester schedule for first year as a BPK student. Since I will be living on campus, commuting will not be an issue.

I wanted to ask whether I should consider taking one of the Indigenous course requirements or a WQB-required course instead of one of the four courses I selected, perhaps as a replacement for BISC 102. If so, are any of these courses offered online?

I am mainly concerned that this course load may be too heavy for my first semester at university.

Thank you for your input!

Least Difficult Physics Course (BPK Major)

I’m wondering which Physics course is the easiest for a BPK major. I need to complete two courses for my degree, and there are quite a few Physics options to choose from. My goal is to maintain the highest GPA possible, so I’d really appreciate any advice. Thank you!

Input on Schedule (BPK)

Hello there! I am going into the first year of my BPK degree. I'm hoping to receive some input on this schedule I have created. Please be honest, how does this schedule look? Should I add or remove anything? I will be a full time student living on residence, aiming for a high GPA in the hopes of getting into medical school. I do not need to worry about working part time at the moment.

Thank you for your time!

First Semester Suggestions/Input

Hello Everyone! I am a first-year student and just wanted some input on my first-semester course choices as a BPK student.

  1. BPK 142

  2. Chem 121

  3. Physics 101 ( as I did Physics 12 in High School)

  4. Math 154 or elective course

How does this semester look? Is it too difficult?

Thank you for your time!

GPA Booster

I am going into the first year of BPK at SFU. I was wondering if any elective courses are good GPA boosters that line up with the major I am pursuing. I am aiming to go to medical school and hope to have a high GPA by the end of my bachelor's degree. Thank you for your time!
