Hello fellow LARPers, I copped this kinda as a "why not" moment and im gonna be so real im actually in love with them. I thought it would be kinda funny but i unironically fw these heavy now.

Quality - 10/10

These genuinely feel amazing. I have bought so many rep denim jeans, from DS2 to Blanks and they are all okay but kind of cheap - these feel heavy set as a mf.

Accuracy - pretty good

They are an older season, so im not certain, but reference pics show the monogram has lined up correctly, there are no half cut logos, the stitching matches, as does the hardware. The the price these seem much better than any alixpress batch, thats for sure.

Fit - tall and loose

I just went for my waist size, they are a loose/baggy for sure for me. Maybe i messed up size wise, but i like this fit a lot and it's been a while since i've had something fit as good.

Closing thougts - happy i went through with it

What started as a 'what if' is now a 'for sure' for me. I genuinely can't wait to put some real fits together with these and LARP like never before.

The main start of the show, I love this. I didn't realise how oversized FOG is until my friend explained. This feels super thick and is part of their newer 90s retro line. Print feels good on the heavy ass hoodie, and honestly im gonna try buy more.

Stussy ￥159 - Size L

A bit oversized (my fault) but print is good and the dice on the back i fw heavy for summer. I'd cop, decent blank quality. Can't go wrong with stussy

Nike top ￥159 - Size L

Bit of a more retro vibe, just another light summer pick up. Not much to say! Light weight but not see through.

We11Done - ￥110 - Size L

I think this is fantasy and i'll be so real its huge, my fault entirely, that being said it does feel mad thick and heavy, and the logo printing is clean.

BAPE ￥138 - Size L

My first bape item, went with black because the other stuff is light and white. Decent blank, has print on the back and front that feels pretty decent. Also has the arm stitch tag which was a nice touch. Looking forward to be in my bape era.

Model: ASIC Gel-NYC 'Cloud'

Not everything is a win! And sadly, these came up a tiny bit short for me. That being said, this is solely because i should have sized up.

There were really soft around the heels because of the cushion/padding, and general build quality was pretty good. They deal feel a bit light, but i can't comment on if that's accurate or not as these are my only ASICS.

I am a UK Size 10, so got that. Sadly, I should have sized up, my toes were at the end of the shoe as soon as i got them on. For a quick initial walk and test for comfort, they were okay, but after some prolonged journeys to the store - absolutely no way.

That being said, your mileage may vary, and if the sizing works out for you, (atleast .5 up) these would likely of become my daily.

Some other points that i will bullet point out:

• Packaging was A1. No crumple or dents and the box fit them snug
• Didn't stink of glue or weird fumes like other asic reviews
• Quite an accurate rep i think? No glaring flaws

So, overall - would i recommend? For the price, I'd say yes, but only if you can confirm and get your size. I went direct with Old Chen on these so it's my fault entirely. An agent can measure up insoles and such for you. If you are looking for professional grade or shoes for orthopediac reason, i would probably go for something a bit more specific or, even retail.

Got this one posted ASAP because the quality on this is great, and i pray the approval gods don't keep me in limbo until next summer.

Anyway, I've had budget keepalls and this feels a whole world different, from the fit and finish to the accessories. I will try to keep the pro's and cons. There are lots of competition, but i think this matches, if not supersedes, Birdcage / Old Cobbler / Other high end batches

• Came wrapped in plastic and even had a box, i've seen some that just straight up get thrown into a bag.
• The dust cloth is pretty basic, idk what you'd expect.
• Came with a store card which is a nice touch, i keep it in the card holder to keep it rigid.
• Did i mention its 49 rmb??

It feels quite nice, soft is maybe not the right word, but i've had some realllly cheap card holders that feel like they're made out of cardboard and plastic. This one not so much, holds my cards and has an interior pouch. Didn't spot any heat stamped codes.

Keeping this one short and sweet - we've all seen a pair of dunks before!

Quality

Comparing to my friends retail, these feel really good & overall have no glaring flaws and on-foot feel comfortable. The laces have this odd feel to normal shoes but comparing with retail its normal, its like an elastically feel? I guess its a dunk thing. These are M batch which as i've learnt is one of the better ones.

Feel

These are actually really comfortable, i wish someone put me onto them earlier. My AF1s feel so clunkly in comparison. These will be my new daily pretty soon. Walking around i can feel the softness / sole nicely.

Seller / Communication

Went with James and went direct, took about a week and he was very good at ansering questions I had. They were shipped no box so were a little bent up on arrival, but, took a normal form really quickly with no issue.

Last thoughts

Dunks are a little bit played out and the reps are really good now imo. The hype days of these have passed so normal people can wear them like me. If you're looking for a pair, then these are great for the price.

This one i think(?) may be fantasy. Fits great, material is tight. I odnt know how to explain it but when i wear it it feels lowkey like a scuba / athletic wear. Came with major loose threads on the collar and shoulder, quick snip fix but would be nice if it didn't

Long sleeve

No loose threads this time, Good logo, A little baggy but overall the material feels quite premium for a shirt, not see through like some. I imagine i will ruin it with pit stains this summer lmao.

Short sleeve

Great fit, will be perfect for summer, not as thin as it looks in the pics, came with Two spare buttons on the bottom of it, but the horse has this odd square around it that i hope will wash out / fade out

Dark grey 1/4 zip

This feels unreal. Feels super thick and the zip / collar feels good, not that really overly floppy one. I usually wear these unzipped a few inches folded over. Not too baggy on me whatsoever, This colour wool looks like it may pick up fluff really easy so im not keen on that but, dark grey is practical.

Fit - Sock like fit, these are tight, given the design. I bought them for a new work commuting shoe - they fit a tiny bit big, but are fine. The speed lace system is unusual, and can be kinda tight around the tounge. Heel to toe drop of about 7mm.

Bounce/Comfort - These feel *super* good. A real spring in my step and i'd even be comfortable to run in them, but i don't need to. Mostly just to walk on lunched, covering about 6 miles a day minimum.

Overall comments

For the price, these are a great batch (non professional runner opinion) , i've had problems in the past with this style of shoe squeaking but no issues here. I would advice having a flick through the models though, this chunky/sock like design will probably be uncomfortable for skinny feet types, and if you prefer a traditional lace this speed lace system isn't it.

came with the box, dustbag, store cards, laces, and the nice dior foil-stamped paper. Not that it matters but its a nice touch.

Fit 9.5/10

I sized up for these .5 and they fit good, i think my main thing was my socks were thin as hell so i could feel the end, but they felt good on my foot shape and general length.

Accuracy 8/10

These aren't the worlds best batch, but for the price they're hard to be beaten. The DIOR print on the side is alright, the DIOR engraving by the toe box could be a little sharper imo. The tongue tag could likely be better but, its such a minute feature i don't care.

Overall

I'm happy with them. They look great in the sun, feel solid. I could have sprung a few more bucks but average improvements are double the cost for quite small changes. Overall i'd recommend for sure.
