Is there a “UniFi-like” Web UI for managing switches and routers from any vendor?

I’ve been wondering about this for a while, because I haven’t really seen a proper solution for it.
Is there any software that lets you centrally manage switches and routers from different vendors through one clean Web UI, kind of like UniFi Network, but vendor agnostic?
I’m talking about something that could handle common tasks like viewing devices, changing ports/VLANs, managing configs, monitoring status, and ideally supporting multiple manufacturers instead of locking everything into one ecosystem.
The reason I’m asking is that I’ve been working on my own solution, but I’m not sure I can ever release it publicly because some parts required reverse engineering vendor specific behavior. Classic networking vendor nonsense: everyone supports “standards” until you actually try to manage their devices.
Does something like this already exist, or is this still one of those “everyone wants it, nobody has built it properly” problems?

I made a tiny universe where every GitHub repo grows into its own living terrarium

I built a small browser project called Repo Terrarium.

You paste any public GitHub repo, like rust-lang/rust or vercel/next.js, and it turns the repo structure into a living canvas ecosystem. The file tree, language mix, stars, forks and repo name get hashed into a deterministic "DNA", so the same repo always grows the same terrarium. Forks mutate it.

It is just static HTML/CSS/JS:

- no backend

- no login

- no database

- no build step

Demo:

https://pondsec.github.io/repo-terrarium/

GitHub:

https://github.com/PondSec/repo-terrarium

The fun part is comparing repos. Big framework repos look totally different from tiny personal projects, and you can save a snapshot PNG.

Would love to see what weird repos produce the best terrariums.

Small note:

If the GitHub API rate-limits the page, it falls back to an offline seed so the demo still works.

Is this too much for a lock screen, or does it work?

I made this cosmic lock screen with a dark silhouette of Rick looking out over a colorful alien sky. I wanted it to feel calm, lonely, and kind of thoughtful without being too overloaded.
What do you think? Does it work as a lock screen, or is it too dramatic?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for someone who could help me produce a custom dial for my Seiko SNKE01K1.

The watch uses a Seiko 7S26 movement, and I’m trying to create a custom white textured “wave paper / snowflake” style dial similar to the preview image attached.

Specs I need:

Watch: Seiko SNKE01K1

Movement: Seiko 7S26 / compatible NH36 layout

Dial diameter: 28.5 mm

Day-date window at 3 o’clock

Crown position: 4 o’clock / 3.8 position

Dial feet suitable for 7S26 / NH36 with 3.8 crown position

White wave paper / snowflake texture

Applied silver hour markers

Silver day date frame

Custom text/logo: “POND”

I know a fully custom dial can be difficult and expensive for just one piece, so I’m also open to modifying an existing compatible dial if that makes it more realistic.

Does anyone know a dial maker, Seiko modder, or small custom shop who could make something like this as a single piece or small custom job?

Any recommendations would be really appreciated.

Thanks!
