Has anyone heard back about scholarships through ScholarDollars that were due in February? I'm not sure how the timeline works or if I will hear back about anything even if I didn't get any scholarships. Thanks!
There was a point where I was baking 2-3 times a week using a stand mixer but also mixing by hand. I would also make a loaf of sourdough by hand at least 3 times a week. I started to notice a weird pain at the base of my dominant thumb. I’ve slowed down a bit and baking maybe every other week, but the pain is still there and I can’t even squeeze my shampoo bottle with my right hand anymore.
I just turned 22 three days ago (F) and I am worried about the pain and mobility. I have not seen a doctor, been to urgent care, or seen a specialist yet because I don’t want to worry about costs. I have my yearly check up with my primary care doctor in June, so I was planning on bringing it up to her then. Does anyone have any experience with this, specifically from baking? I will also take any suggestions or tips about this. After doing some light research, I think it might be CMC joint arthritis, but not sure and that doesn’t make sense with my age.
