Since we now know that the complainant in this case is in fact against Bri, we now can see why she’s been so calm and cavalier about his charges and him coming home today. I completely believe they started fussing on live to lead up to him getting arrested, the call we all heard about the “man attempting to k!ll the woman inside the apartment” was their call. I believe they planned it thinking that santos would go to jail for night and Bri could drop the charges and him get out, similar to Catalina. They saw how much attention John was getting over his arrest and his mugshot being everywhere, and you know they love drama and skits and are always having to come up with a way to stay relevant and keep the views coming in. They knew this would get them majorly paid and thought the cost of doing it would be low. Well, it has completely backfired on them and may really change the trajectory of their lives together. This is a serious charge, whatever she told the police and had marks to prove, they believed it was serious enough to charge him with ATTEMPTED M, that is no small thing. Even if the charges are reduced, he could face some time and even if he doesn’t, CPS will be coming around because they do NOT like babies and children in violent homes, and they have a history of DV against each other. CPS will expect Bri to protect baby S from Santos, she can lose him if she just allows santos to come back to the home. Also, any chance she ever had to have santos at her visits is now GONE. Once the judge sees this, I can’t even imagine what she will say or think. They did this thinking it would be a quick way to make a buck and drive up views but it literally could cost them everything. What idiots.

I believe John will continue to have sole legal and physical custody, with Bri having supervised visitation as part of a step-up plan. My guess is that she’ll have supervised visits for the next few months, then they’ll go back to court to determine whether she can move to unsupervised day visits. I also believe Santos is still prohibited from being around W during visits, and I honestly don’t see that changing anytime soon. I believe this is why Bri now wants everything confidential and is pretending to care about W privacy. She’s never cared about his privacy, she wants this private only because it’s humiliating to her.
I also don’t think Bri will follow through with the supervised visits. I think she knows W isn’t going to California anytime soon, and she’ll eventually give up. She seems far more concerned with how things look online, so I wouldn’t be surprised if she eventually comes out with a story about how John “fought” to keep her from seeing W and made her visits supervised.
What’s crazy is that she continues to portray John as unreasonable and the “high-conflict” parent when her own actions are what got her here. She violated court orders, lied about where W was, took him out of the state he was ordered to remain in TWICE, had people around him who were specifically ordered not to be around him, and then lied to the judge about it. She intentionally got pregnant TWICE to try to sway things her way and while the judge may have seemed sympathetic to her on the record, Judges in family court and even criminal court see this all the time. A woman gets pregnant in order to garnish sympathy and the judges know that this is a common manipulation tactic. And when the pregnancy alone wasn’t working, she then claimed it to be a “high risk pregnancy” but never once turned anything in that confirmed this and stated she had restrictions on travel and flying. Her and her lawyer really tried to defend her flying to Paris, going to universal, going to Coachella, hiking here, going there, but it was clear to the judge that this woman lied to the court and was not going to Texas only because she didn’t want to. She only wanted a relationship with her son when it as under the conditions she wanted.
The frustrating part is that the court was actually giving her a path toward what she wanted. All she had to do was complete six months of unsupervised visits in Dallas without violating the orders. Instead, she brought Santos around, took W to San Antonio, lied about it, and continued putting her own wants ahead of what was best for W and what would have helped her regain custody.
She had a real opportunity to rebuild trust with the court, and she blew it through her own choices. Now she can say John “took her son away” if she wants, but the reality is that her own actions and decisions are what led to the situation she’s in.
