I wanted to share with you my journey to revive this bad boy:
I bought it for 30€ completely untested, HDD and Battery were after 23 years completely dead.
I bought a new battery, the Chinese Flashadapter (the ipod version works very well, also in 6th gen) from aliexpress, the iflash 4G Adapter and a 128 GB SD cars from Lexar.
The installation was very easy and the recovery of the Ipod was totally flawless on my mac M5 via USB.
After Flashmodding its not possible to sync via Firewire.
