Pam or Western?

OK, this is my last post. Im stuck between Western Express or Pam Transport. Now this is only to get experience and I plan to only stay as long as I have to so I can move on. Western would start me on Flatbed at .56 cpm which I feel is decent to start off on but I heard alot of nightmare crap about them like if your overweight they make you pay the ticket and that the trucks are all trash and break down alot and some other sh$%. Pam would start at .35 which is horrible but I heard they are better company as far as the equipment and then I could potentially join thr mentor program pretty quickly which would bump up to around .55 or .60 cpm. Which is the lesser of 2 evils? Which is a better starting point? Would love to hear from truckers that actually have worked at these companies.

PAM TRANSPORT PAY?

OK, so I might be going to Pam transport and I know the pay is s*#% but I have been really wanting to break into trucking somehow and the only companies to hire me have been Western and Pam. I need some real world info on what some people are making at Pam Transport and how many miles they are getting plus what there are making before and after there taxes. The recruiter said I would get close to 3000 miles and that times .35 cents would be 1050 before taxes so around 900 take home. Now I just need to know are these going to accurate numbers starting out.

Trucking for Western Express to get experience

So I've been selling cars for a few years now and I've done pretty good with selling cars but I am just kinda done with car sales and I jave a CDL but never used it and found Western one of the only ones to want get experience with. My MVR is clear but I have a couple felonies from 20 years ago. I plan to work for 3 to 6 months there and then move on. Does anyone have any advice for me that might help me out. I am going to run flatbed since they pay a little better than dry van but just worried the pay isn't going to be there. I am very ambitious and will run every load they give me. My goal is to get my own rig a few months and maybe try Land Star out. Any insights would be helpful. Im also stationed in Jacksonville Florida.
