I’m more important than you

I don’t mind ppl double parking their expensive vehicles in the back row of the parking lot, but this irritates me bc the lot was almost completely full and this guy chose to park closer to the storefront. C’mon now how selfish can you be..

This sub frequently hates on Dallas but I love it

I see Dallas get torn apart here on a regular basis. Any time someone asks about moving here or posts something positive, the comments flood with reasons why the city allegedly sucks.
I’ve been living in Dallas since 2022, and out of all the places I’ve lived, it’s honestly been my favorite. Yes, the summer heat is intense, traffic can be brutal, and urban sprawl is real. But we also have incredible diversity, a welcoming community, top-tier food, and massive economic opportunity.
It’s not the greatest city on the planet—or even in the US—and it certainly has its flaws. But it doesn’t deserve the non-stop hate it gets here. Just wanted to throw out a voice of appreciation for those of us who are actually glad to call this place home.

What to watch next?

I finished Seal Team and loved it, but am having trouble finding another show to fill the void now that I’m out of new ST episodes. I tried the first episode of Six and didn’t continue. Is Six my best bet and should I give it more time? Or is there another series I should look for?

What can be done about running red lights

Running red lights in Dallas has always been a thing but I’ve noticed it getting more brazen lately. I just watched an suv with a “baby on board” sticker run a red at mockingbird and 75 that was red for a good 3 seconds. I understand why ppl do it, but what can we do about it? Cameras have been voted out and the police have violent crime to deal with. It scares me enough that I count to 3 before going when I get a green light and I’ve noticed this happening in all parts of the city.
