Just finished Session 0. How did Session 1 go for you?
So we just completed session 0 last night. It went really well. We went over all the expectations advised with the DDudes video, talked through and rolled up all characters with their backstories.
Session 1 is in three weeks.
Party comp at level 1 with subclass plan:
Fighter V.Human (Samurai)
Barbarian V.Human (Beast Path)
Tabaxi Warlock (Genie Pact)
Cleric Goliath (Grave Domain)
Our sessions run weekly for 3-3.5 hours
My plan is to allow for 15-30 minutes of role play where the players talk amongst each other and share details with Eren Marlowe.
Bandit shakedown to be run as is with what I expect to be combat but if not, 3 checks to get passed.
Based on time, I’ll run the Night on the Road.
I’m thinking about having the sick Rikard Vos be a teenager (14M) and younger sibling of Endra Jansen Vos (22F). I want to drive home the moral grey of the campaign early and present an interesting choice.
Ludwig gets devoured while they sleep, Endra will try to protect her sibling by imposing disadvantage on attack rolls against him, even after the transformation.
Ending the session with a completion of the long rest and Session 2 to start back on the road getting to Emberwood.
