“You’ll probably lose at Summary Judgement”

Just watched Mr. Pollard’s recent YT vid on employment discrimination and have some takeaways:

• For those of you having trouble finding a lawyer, your location matters. You can have evidence, witnesses etc to support your claim. However, if you live in a state where they favor employers and turn an eye to discrimination (southern and midwestern states), you’ll likely lose at summary judgement. Meaning less lawyers will take on these types of cases, at least on contingency, because the likelihood of them losing is high.

• This is why all of our experiences are so different. It’s helpful to get advice on here. But just know that lawsuit experiences in California can be drastically different than experiences in Florida.

Missing Cat San Diego

My friend is missing her cat. Her ex says it was surrendered at the SD Humane Society but it might have been sold in the San Diego/Point Loma area in the last month or so.

ORIGINAL POST: Hi there. This is my last ditch effort to find my cat. Around February I had to leave SD and go back to oregon, I left my cat with my ex boyfriend who I now regrettably know I shouldn't have trusted.
I could NOT take my kitty with me at the time because of my living situation, he offered to keep him since he had lived with him for the last 2 years anyway so I figured I could trust him, the last 5 months I have been begging for an update on my cat from my ex and my old friend circle, no one would give me any kind of update, until finally last nigt at 7pm I got a message from him saying he gave my cat away to a shelter. I reached out to that shlter and so did many of my friends, they did not find the cat there in the lsst 30 days so we are assuming he sold him.
If anyone here has seen a sphyx about 2/3 years old, slightly fuzzy, grey in color, light greenish blue eyes please reach out to me. I just want to know he's okay and in a safe home at the very least.
