I find it strange that this person who works at a pharmacy is judging people’s prescriptions.

An FA’s take on car racing (and of course how it’s linked to medical fatphobia) and someone else’s reaction to it.

I still don’t get the link between morality and being fat. Kudos however for knowing getting winded is a consequence of their body type! I wonder what they consider looking like corpse though.

Is it really this bad out there for fat people or is this person projecting their insecurities?

This post makes me wonder how hard it is in the USA to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Can anyone tell me more about it?

Do we really have no control over our weight? Maybe not an exact number, but we can certainly control it to keep it in a healthy range, I believe. Also, is set point weight real?

It sounds like there are some deeply rooted issues here. But the doctor probably isn’t completely wrong. What if the chronic pain goes away if the person lost weight?

If only we know better now..

Obviously smoking is unhealthy and commercials like that aren’t any good, however back in the day we knew much less about it.

Now we know a lot more about lifestyle, calories and what certain stuff and food do to our bodies.

Haven’t heard the term “fatphobic offenders” before. The FA language keeps growing.

I feel for this person and the mindset they live with. But the world doesn’t care as much about them as they think they do. Our self worth comes from within and accepting ourselves and it’s important to take care of our own mental and physical health.

Keeping ourselves in a mindset where we are bothered by what other people “think” of us and therefore being a victim of external factors isn’t helpful.

Taking the reins and responsibility of our own lives will set us free. I know that it’s easier said than done, but any process takes time.

Weren’t FA’s the once who compared “fatphobia” to other forms of discrimination and marginalised people? I still don’t get how fat people are oppressed, can anyone explain?

How is seeing weight loss as self improvement hateful towards fat people?

We are all going to die and life is short. But we can always make it shorter!
