How to See Float on Steam Market?
Have you ever noticed that two identical skins on the Steam Market can have completely different prices? Same name. Same exterior. Completely different value.
The reason is float.
Float determines how clean a skin actually looks — scratches, wear, fading, and overall appearance.
And Steam barely shows this information directly.
Because of that, many people end up:
• overpaying for bad floats
• missing rare patterns
• ignoring expensive stickers
• buying skins almost blindly
You'd agree it's better to see the full value of an item before buying it, right? Float is shown on Steam at the link above as the 'Wear Rating' for a given skin, but the SIH extension gives you the exact float value, lets you view your data on a graph, and even shows the value of stickers on each skin. Here are two screenshots below where you can see how much more convenient the extension is to use
It adds useful information directly to the Steam Market page, including:
• exact float value
• sticker prices
• pattern info
• prices from external marketplaces
Once you start seeing all of that while browsing, the market makes a lot more sense. Have you used an extension before, or have you always analyzed everything manually
