Google Team Match

My Google recruiter told me that I am approved for SWE L3 (down-leveled from L4 originally).
I also got a team match call the next day, call with the hiring manager went well. They told about their team, I asked some questions and then they grilled me on one my (distributed systems) project and that went well too.

8/4: Cut to three weeks later, my recruiter told the HM is still figuring out head count and also told they liked the convo they had with me and I am on top of their mind.

8/6: I follow up again as I had some EAD updates to give. but now my recruiter is OoO from 8/16 to 8/18.

What am I to make of this? Has anyone been in this situation similar to me?
Also appreciate any suggestions on what I can do next?

Should I do prem processing? OPT EAD

Hi y’all, I’m stuck in a dilemma.
Context:
I applied to initial OPT EAD on April 16th.
Biometrics: May 27

I have a potential offer which wants me to start on Aug 10th(or before).
Should I upgrade to premium processing in this case or just wait it out in normal pipeline?

If anyone who applied around March end - April end and got theirs approved without premium processing, that would greatly help in me making a decision. Thanks!

Google SWE3: additional round requested

I just had a ‘chat’ with my recruiter yesterday and he told he has reviewed my interview responses and told it was a strong signal for L3, but leaner signal for L4, and asked me if I’ll do another round of coding interview to better assess for L4.

My questions are:
Is the additional round going to be similar to the coding rounds I’ve had before?
What are the chances they clear me for L4, assuming this extra round goes well?
If for any reason I tank this round am I out or will I be considered for L3?

Any responses are much appreciated!

I had a chat with my recruiter and was told the business phone screen went well and moving fwd to technical loop.
Rec told there’ll be 4 rounds, didn’t really get into it much.
From what I’ve seen on reddit it looks like R1 is Lc style, R2 is grey area not sure what to expect (is it LLD?) , R3 is HLD and R4 is behavioural and leadership.
To people who have full loop recently: what can I expect in these rounds? And how difficult will it be?
I specifically want to know how R2 and R3 will be structured and what to expect?
Edit: This is for backend L4, US

Context:
I’m just getting started on HLD( I’m using hellointerview for ref), think I’m pretty ok at leetcode(also prepping for G, so I think there’ll be overlap).

tldr; should I do NC250 or random tagged for Google L4 R2 in 10 days?

I just heard from my recruiter that R1 “went great” and they’re moving forward to R2.
According to me:
R1 DSA - H/SH
R1 G&L - SH

I did NC250 and like 25ish DP questions for R1 prep, however I left stuff from complex af topics like trie dp, graph dp, interval dp(MCM).

My question is, what should I focus on prepping now? Should I redo NC250 for better pattern recognition or do random new questions from 3mo tagged? And should I worry about trie/MCM?
Any help is heavily appreciated!
