I have been interviewing for a different position within my company which is currently going through a reorg and this position was based in a different geographical area than where I am based currently. The HM for the position seemed to really like me and was inclined to fill the position by mid June and I thought i had a great first and second round interview and was one of the two candidates being considered, after which the HR and the HM have been silent for around 2 weeks now.
I reached out to follow up with the HM and he said the HR is the one in lead for this because the HM was moving countries for the next week and when I reached out to the HR, he said that they have not made a decision yet. I checked with my current manager who also confirmed that the HM had reached out to her to chat after my final round. Today I checked the internal portal to see the job was reposted again while my application is still active on it. What does this even mean?
