I had a $125 Amex Offer for Expedia. On August 4, 2026, while the offer was active, I clicked the Amex Offer link and completed a qualifying hotel reservation.

The charge was posted to my Amex on August 5. Amex is refusing the $125 credit because of the posting date.

I have screenshots showing the offer, the Amex email from Aug 4, and the Expedia email confirming the reservation made on Aug 4.

Has anyone dealt with this? What’s the best way to escalate?

I already called about it, but they're saying I missed the offer because it was posted on August 5.
