I’m an Indian medical graduate graduated in 2025 currently in my usmle journey
I have a b1/b2 visa interview scheduled for 14 dec 2026 for an 4 week unpaid hands off observership I have to do in New York next year
Here’s my back ground and I would like to get some honest reviews on chances of approval along with suggestions to some questions
I’m currently working since 1.5 years in a hospital , lead of the internal medicine and emergency clinic , no international travel history , father will be funding the trip who’s the manager of supply chain and quality assurance in a luxury hotel in Delhi
What should I say if I’m asked why I’m doing this observership ? Should I say that I’m doing this for upskilling as a clinician or that I’m planning to pursue post graduation in US and have cleared my Step 1 ?
