Just started watching the series and I have some questions...
So, I discovered the show through a Claude prompt asking for a list of series/movies to watch for someone interested and in contemplation of pursuing a career in law. I've already watched Suits, but I was looking for something more realistic in showing the life of a lawyer, and Better Call Saul, so far, has given me what I was looking for. I love how realistic the characters are and the fact that it's not just all litigation clips. And having a background in multimedia production, the shows cinematography is topnotch!
Now on to Season 3, I have a couple of questions to ask.
- I've figured there are two parallel storylines developing within the show with Jimmy's law ventures and Mike's nerve-racking involvement with the cartel. Would these two plots cross significantly at some point or is this the whole intended setup for the whole show and we just get to enjoy both worlds?
- Never watched Breaking Bad but I found out that this was written by the same writer (if my memory serves me right). Given this, is there any connection between both shows? Would it make it better if I watched both or BCS can stand on its own?
Would really appreciate any input on these. I just want to know if it would be worth commiting through the end of the show and if Breaking Bad is something I should also look into.
Thanks!
